We travelled as a family of four. This hotel is in a great location, just minutes walking from Al-Hamra. But it’s bit dated, rooms need some upgrades. Bathroom is modern but no exhaust fan. Overall it’s a good hotel for a short stay. Lot of group tours use this hotel, it can get busy. Try to buy the breakfast buffet, as restaurants and shops are at least 20 minutes walk.

We didn't get the room we had reserved on hotels.com. The reservation said a 260 square-feet room for 2 adults and a child, with view on the gardens. I know the preferences cannot be guaranteed and this time for the first time: they were not. Supposedly because we had made the reservation only an hour before coming... We always do this with hotels.com and it's the first time this has happened. Anyway, the staff was a little rude in explaining why we couldnt get the room we wanted and that was a little insulting as well. The hotel doesnt feel like a 4 star at all, not even a 3.... 2.5 barely: cheap finishes, ugly lamps all over the place, no coffee machine in the room, no alarm clock either, felt as if the time had stopped since 1983... only one big towel in the bathroom, the inside of the swimming pool looked shabby and was not maintained: leaves or other unindentified things in the bottom.... Also: very noisy rooms! The only thing good was the closeness to the Alhambra. Also: no convienient access or staircase to the Alhambra public parking, had to crawl, jump and climb underneath the trees between two roads to get there....
