My family and l often stay at City Lodge. It is so convenient when traveling to or from O R Tambo International Airport. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable.

Very convenient for a one night stop over. Just can’t imagine why staff put me in a room closet to the lobby. And then put a family with an infant next door. The hotel wasn’t full. For a better chance at sleeping, arrive before 3pm AND ask for a room away from the reception.

My family and I had an early flight and chose to spend the night at a hotel near the airport. City Lodge Hotel was perfect. We were able to quickly and easily walk to the terminal in the morning.

Very easy hotel, best location for value of the joburg airport choices. Checkin wait was rather long late-evening due to number of delayed flight passengers all arriving same time but the staff worked through everything as best they could. Very comfortable rooms, very family friendly. I always stay here when a joburg overnight is required.
