Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach St. Maarten

Gregor Nelson in the VIP lounge was a STAR. We had numerous flight delays causing extreme travel disruption (we were going to miss a connecting flight), so we needed to sort out airlines, hotels, prescription refills, babysitters and all kinds of logistics. Because of my Hilton Honors status, Gregor let us sit in the VIP lounge to charge our phones and use the wifi to sort out all of these details. His positive, friendly attitude made a huge difference for us on an otherwise very stressful day.

The appliances and facilities were wonderful. However, the room had a noticable odor upon arrival & after enduring it for a few days we decided to investigate and found mould all over the living room ceiling. Not only was this health hazard upsetting, but the fact that the hotel is advertised as family-friendly yet doesn't offer house keeping unless that stay is longer than 8 days is baffling. I will not be staying here ever again.

The Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach St. Maarten was absolutely amazing for my family of four. The staff were all very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure we were all having a great time. The beach and pool areas were also beautifully maintained. Beach towels were available upon request from the pool bar area. The food at the beach restaurant was outstanding. The meals were all delicious and we all left feeling satisfied but not uncomfortably full. We will definitely be returning and will recommend this place to our friends and family.

I was particularly interested in the room and what it have to offer for me and my family. The room was well put together and functional. It was great on my behalf. What i did not like was the fact that room cleaning is done once a week and if you want cleaning done before that you have to pay for it.

I had a very nice stay and like that there was convenience of having a microwave especially traveling with my infant and 7 year old.

excellent choice for a family or romance trip

The stay here was amazing! The hotel is in a prime location which is nice. Happy hour on the premise with activities on the property for kids. I did not like the fact that time time share ppl hunt you down. The food from kitchen took exceptionally long and when you did receive food it was cold! Also due to it being a time share, everyone is OLD and not use to seeing kids run around and be kids. This was the most annoying part. Check out time is 10am 🙄. The best they will give is 11am. 🙄. Overall 8/10

The hotel or resort is wonderful, the staff is very very friendly, the cleanliness is very high quality, all praise to the hotel management. I highly recommend it to families and everyone else, I think it's one of Hilton's best. Even the location itself is at the peak of what is possible. Pros: Great location, room amenities, pool area, clean, safe environs Cons: The staff considers the on-site solicitors to be a higher priority than the paying guests. From the get-go they'll pressure you to attend a sales presentation about time-shares. A local masseuse (non-employee) set up her makeshift tent on the beach directly in front of our 1st floor patio for 3 straight days, obstructing our ocean view from noon to sunset. All the while, she chatted with the hotel staff as if they were family. When I politely asked her whether it might be possible to relocate her operation 10 meters in either direction for our final day, she gave me a rude dismissive reply. When I took my concerns to the hotel staff they (1) pretended that they had no idea who I was talking about, and then (2) told me there's nothing they could do about it, because "It's a public beach". Keep that in mind if you pony up the extra money for an "Oceanview" room.

Clean and nice location. Condo rooms adjoining door not double so we could hear other guests with children. It was very noisy.
