Hyatt Residence Club Dorado, Hacienda Del Mar

Last minute booking that turned out a grand slam. We had an outstanding time. Great family property at a great value. Don’t have to leave the premises if you don’t want. Classy simple rustic elegance with all the amenities. Loved our stay will be back!!

This was such an amazing experience that really got it right. The pool to beach access was breathtaking along with how much of the beach you could walk down and up. This was a safe space for those with young kids but also offered some very adult space with the mahi mahi bar. The drinks and food were amazing we recommend this place for anyone that is wanting a more peaceful experience of Puerto Rico and is okay with longer commutes to and back from Old San Juan. You’ll need to definitely rent a car or put money aside for daily transportation.

Great staff! Phenomenal drinks with good alcohol. Upgraded to a Presidential Suite for me and my family! Super clean, electricity and water never cut off. Awesome amenities and beautiful front view of beach and pools.

It was unique seeing a pool that was 1ft tall, was able to let my toddler swim without worrying.

Just got back from staying at the Hyatt Vacation club and my family had a wonderful stay. A couple of nice things about the hotel, the pool is very close by the beach which made it convenient to go to both. Plenty of beach chairs available, facility was well kept, clean and front desk/staff was very accessible. The only thing we wished the hotel had was additional restaurants. There is only one on site. Will definitely consider coming back.

We enjoyed a 2-unit (I think they call it a lock-out) for ourselves and 3 teen kids. Plenty of room, updated, great facilities, and quiet. The pool, beach, and small bar/restaurant were great and the staff were super helpful and friendly. I would absolutely visit again!

The outdoor relaxation and swimming/soaking/splashing areas were exquisitely kept and met the needs of young and old. Safety in terms of water features' visibility and variable depths was wonderful, as was natural features and warning flags and maps of each day's rip-tide conditions. Also, loved that there was so much to do for kids without making the whole place too childish for a romantic adult getaway. I love that the pools close at 10, restaurant stays open until 11:00 and no casino. This invites people with good intentions and doesn't seem a very enabling place for predators to lurk. Thank you

We had a relaxing time here- pool is lovely- big and deep. Beach is right there- feels very private. Action is there very little and the place could do with a restaurant beyond the (good) beach bar as breakfast/lunch and dinner there gets old. You need a car. I liked it so much we booked an extra night. Good for families with young kids. Clean and comfortable rooms. I would return. Doardo is ok, vega alta definitely "Local but we kinda like that. The people in Puerto Rico are so lovely. Refreshing to meet such genuinely nice people.

Great quiet resort for family vacation. Dining and activities somewhat limited, but friendly staff. If looking for family beach/pool vacation this place is perfect.

The staff were all amazing! Our one bedroom villa was great for a family of four. Pool area and gardens beautifully maintained and landscaped. The Mahi Mahi grill had great food and cocktails! Beach area was beautiful and very private. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone! We had a great time!
