The Lazy Parrot Inn

This was a beautiful clean and kid friendly location. Best parts of the stay was the scenic view from the balcony, large room space, privacy and consistent cleanliness of the room. Be prepared to walk up/down many steps (no elevator), especially when traveling with large suitcase and little ones (kiddos). Read Read Read your trip itinerary; when we arrived we did not see ANY staff (arrived at 7pm) until noon the next day (conveniently we read our itinerary and found everything we needed) property manager found us on our second day to ensure everything was perfect. All staff and locals very friendly and helpful. 10/10 will come again, you should too!!!

Great place. Small and perfect for our family. Enjoyed the two restaurants, the pool and location.

We stayed 2 nights and will definitely be back!!! And will spread the word. The property has solar power so limted outlets in room and not in bathroom in case you have to blowdry yoir hair.... We loved our 2 days there and would definitely return. We checked in late and luckily there was someone there that lead us to our roomkey. The 2nd night I did hear a family checking in, with excited kids and had no idea where to get room key so they hung in hallways which woke us up but seems they figured it out. The pool is peaceful and the property is beautiful. A great getaway and close to beaches and downtown.

The staff is amazing and accomodating. The boutique-type hotel has a nice family vibe. The place needs an elevator, but for someone that does not mind stairs, lots of entertainment can be had without leaving the property.

Wonderful property, rooms are always clean, there is a kiddie pool and adult pool, pool side bar, good restaurant on the property, Rose was great, very helpful at the front desk! Friendly staff; Movie can be seen while at the pool area, such beautiful lights everywhere at night. I love this place so I keep coming back!! I always feel safe, cameras everywhere, close to town plaza, close to great eateries.

Friendly staff. Beautiful gardens. Great clean pool for families (from 2ft to 5 ft). Complimentary self service coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the mornings. I got a beautiful and spacious newly renovated room (the only thing I did not like was the beds, the were uncomfortable). There is a lot of going up and down stairs. But there is options for people with limited mobility. 4 or 5 mins from Rincon Lighthouse, the beach and other ammenities.

This place was great! The property is very clean and beautiful. Our family with 2 small children had a lot of fun. The hotel has a game room and my kids spent many hours there. They also have board games that you can borrow. The gift shop is the only one I have ever seen that actually has reasonable, maybe even low, prices. The free coffee station they have in the morning had really great coffee. Everyone in my family had a great time. We’ll definitely be returning.

The Pros: Property is very beautiful, well lit. There is no security guard but it has always been safe, without incident. I like that they have 3 pools, one is perfect for toddlers. They provide coffee downstairs in morning. They have a microwave on main floor near reception. Cons: I hated that my room did not have a smart tv and with the ancient tv in my room (#201) I could not see netflix or hulu at night. What is suppose to be a hot tub was not even warm. This I found especially disappointing because I wanted to get in the water at night to see the stars but the pools are cold and the “hot tub” was lukewarm if that. Bed was comfortable but the pillows in this room were like a rock and I tried a few. Had to sleep without any pillow.
