Parador El Faro

This was a welcome surprise!! We had a lot of trouble finding the hotel (don’t trust google it takes you too far down!!). It’s located at the 2.1km marker. The food at the restaurant was delish and there are 2 pools that my kids loved along with poolside games. Definitely give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!!

It was good , location was very good . We didn’t spend much time in hotel due to family obligations, but it was quiet and pleasant.

Hotel El Faro is very family oriented but it needs TLC. They are remodeling rooms, so there is construction noise. The pool water is clear but the bottom and walls have black mold. TV is with analog connection which makes the image blur. Bed mattress need replacement, not very comfortable. Shower needs security handles. There was no restaurant available in premise at the moment of our stay, not even coffee. Garden toward rooms needs illumination. Employees are very attentive.

Great for kids, our room was next to the pool so it was a bit noisy. Construction going on so a lot of big trucks. Clean rooms, friendly service.

My family trip to El Faro was very enjoyable. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with area activities and restaurants. Dennis in the front desk was so helpful with information concerning our trip back home to Fajardo and the beaches we could visit on the way.

The front desk clerks are very helpfull and kind people. The ambiance in general is quiet and nice. Nice location, nice pool, quiet place. But the rooms have very poor lighting and the bathroom had no light at all!! The relocated us and when we opened the 2nd room it wasn't ready. Eventually they put us in a 3rd room and there where bugs in our room. Thank god in our family nobody is afraid of a bug! We killed it. The first night we had enough towels then they cut our towel supply in half and my son had to ask for more towels. So if they pay a little more attention to details in their rooms and make changes in the restaurant, ¡they could become a very nice option for a lot more business travelers!
