Holiday Inn Mayaguez and Tropical Casino, an IHG Hotel

We spent some spectacular days. Above all, tranquility and a good atmosphere to be with family and friends.

Enjoyed our two they stay at this hotel. We were meeting with family in the area and it was easy to meet up with them there. Our only complain about the room would be a noisy air conditioner. We were able to enjoy the pool area for a couple hours just relaxing by the pool. Everything was very clean. Probably be nice to have a little bit more shaded areas. The buffet was very convenient and the staff for service were very very nice. Would definitely return in the future if needed.

The hotel staff was very nice. Our room was clean and cosy. The breakfast was good, overall we had a great stay with small children.

It has been an amazing experience and I just want to Thank The Holiday Inn Tropical Casino Hotel for their tentativeness to their guest and ensuring our safety at all times among other things. I give them a 5 stars plus They not only made sure of me and my family safety but that we were taken care of in many ways. Just know you are in good hands and they are very well prepared In Case of any hurricane. From the reception desk, housekeeping, concierge, security, kitchen , and the bartender, the hospitality treatment was phenomenal. Everything is going well and can be and despite What is happening Thank you all at the Holiday Inn Tropical Casino in Mayaguez for tending to your guest as if we were your family, we could not have asked for anything more

Zulirka who works in the dining area was outstanding. She catered to my family and went beyond the scope of her work. She made our stay pleasant as well as the staff in the front desk. But the casino sucks and managed very poorly. People are aggressive players and disrespectful. STAY AWAY . Otherwise the rooms are comfortable, clean and staff is great

They charge you extra for a buffet breakfast and it's actually a continental breakfast with french toast. A waiter serves you and you cannot repeat. They only have cofee and bottled juice to offer. On check out day the breakfast ends at 10. So if you run late because of packing you miss out on the breakfast you paid for. The toddler area at the pool splashes too hard and is to inclined for kids to actually play in. The "basketball court" is just a round patch of concrete with a hoop... So it's great for adults and business events. But not for families with children who need to be entretained. It's close to all types of dining in the area atleast. The casino looked great...

Great experience. The staff was helpful and kind. The hotel was clean and easy to access. Near a lot of food places and bars. Great for a family escape or vacation.
