Internacional Design Hotel

It’s in a great place. Big suites for families great views of the city from the balconies!

A nice enough hotel but the room had thin walls, and the baby crying in the next room didn’t help! The staff were very good, the breakfast was excellent, and overall it was a good stay, but no wow, just a functional hotel.

We stayed here in July for 4nts. We booked two rooms. The rooms have different themes and the hotel has a cool, modern vibe. The exterior is classic with beautiful balconies that overlook the Rua Augusta. Rossio square is opposite the hotel and the Ave da Liberdade is within a 5m walk. The bathrooms are super small, with the bathtub / shower - but this one was uneven on the bottom n super tight. The beds are a little soft and the pillows very soft. So that wasn’t really comfortable. Also, there’s just sheets to cover - no duvet. Our room on the 2nd floor was a good size, the kids’ room on the 4th floor for a twin room was a bit smaller. The breakfast is at the in-house restaurant Bastardo and it has a decent selection - breads, pastries, yogurt, smoothies, cold meats, cheese and eggs. The reception area is very small. The team at reception and in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Would def recommend based on area and views from the balcony.
