Beautiful and comfortable resort for family with children.

This is a nice property that is convenient for families that want an apartment and kitchen but some of the hotel facilities issue we had was with the check-in team. They were not helpful at all and even though there were properties available as it was not fully occupied we had to wait until 4 o’clock to get our room on our first day even though we arrived at 11 am we were offered anywhere to change which was not ideal with children after a flight. Breakfast staff are friendly. Housekeeping was a bit hidden miss sometimes shower gel and towels would be replaced and sometimes not. We had an issue with our dryer, which was the only option to dry clothes after they had been washed. We did report this but it was not fixed.

Nice place, but a bit scruffy and poor quality In areas. Hot water screeching all night kept us all up, kids slide split and dangerous. Pool bridges falling apart. It was good value, but I can now see why it’s cheaper than top resorts.

The apartment itself was very nice and comfortable with nice terrace and full kitchen. The real let down was the resort facilities. The pool and steam/sauna area was not clean and overcrowded with 30 unsupervised children running and jumping into the indoor pool and entering steam/sauna rooms. The floors in the indoor pool area were moldy and slippery. The resort even charges guests for clean beach/pool towels if you want them changed. No business center. Definitely not a five star resort. Would not return due to the facilities.

This hotel is very comfortable and spacious, with exceptionally friendly staff and nice facilities. I am not sure how busy it gets in summer, but for a February break, it was perfect, especially for the children. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast buffet - even though tasty and plentiful, it was very repetitive.

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days at the end of August with our two teenage children . This was our second time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This resort is family friendly and most of the accommodation is over one or two floors so there's no looming skyscrapers. The grounds are large enough to feel like you're not on top of the other guests. The townhouse accommodation is clean, spacious & homely with modern kitchen appliances, however no consumables are provided so you need to get your own dishwasher and washing machine tablets etc. We had the inclusive breakfast package and the restaurant staff were brilliant. Onsite activities for teenagers are a bit limited but there's more to do in nearby Carvoeiro. Private taxis tend to be a bit unreliable at certain times of the day so the complementary daily shuttle to town is a welcome service. The front desk staff are brilliant and always on hand to help.

Fantastic place, couldnt fault how nice the rooms are and hotel. Onky downsides were 1. Location - it is on the outskirt of the town which means if you don't have a car you're talking 20-30 minutes of walking into town which is made hard since it is downhill and on the way back it is uphill 2. Barely any staff was knowledgeable in English which made it hard to order food/drinks 3. Kids - I love kids but there were a lot of families with kids and couples with kids which means a lot of noise 4. Not the best options for gluten free for breakfast. They have bread which isn't nice, cereals and croissant/madeleines (if they remembered to take them out of the freezer). No separate toaster either Otherwise can not fault the hotel. We were a couple with no kids and we went in September to avoid kids. If you have a family then great place as they have a kids playground and a small kids pool.
