Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico

Our stay was certainly memorable. We stayed here with our family and closest friends and traveled from the New York/Boston region for our nuptials taking place at Senhora de Paz and Estufa Fria. We arrived a few days before and the staff could not be kinder and more accommodating with such a large group. Both Antonio's (front desk and in the restaurant) were beyond helpful in addition to the rest of the staff. It's a beautiful hotel that offers, great in house restaurants, a gym and a pool. The proximity to shops is a huge plus if you want to walk and pick-up souvenirs or just take a stroll around the town. I surely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again for my next trip to Ponta Delgada.

Amazing hotel, but would not recommend for family. This is an adult hotel. The evening bar area has life musics that starts at 10pm. The food is great in the bar and very reasonable prices. The rooms are very clean and the bed and sheets are comfortable. Shower was also great. No complaints here. Only thing missing is an outdoor pool but at least all rooms have balconies. No need to upgrade to the front of the hotel. We had a side very that was perfect and less noisy. Heart chocolates on our pillow each evening was a nice touch.

This hotel had a perfect location. The staff were helpful. The hotel had valet parking for 10 Euros a day. Our room had three single beds which was perfect as I was traveling with my two adult children.

I was there as a result of an unfortunate accident wherein my husband broke his hip. The staff, which seemed like family, were all very caring and kind
