City Garden Hotel Makati

A good place to stay in Makati for a couple or group of adult friends. Wouldn't recommend to families with young kids as the hotel is in the red light district of Makati. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful

This is a great place to stay to be in the heart of Makati city. Be aware that it is a high traffic area, but it is a great hotel to stay in with multiple bars surrounding it. There is a Burger King, McDonald’s, Jollibee, and other convenience stores that are open late. I recommend this hotel to couples and families with kids over 18. Maraming salamat po!

Hotel itself is along a very busy road. However having said that hotel is very convenient to all we needs. My room that was initially provided on the 7th floor was noisy. Have spoken to the friendly front desk staff and happy to moved me to a higher floor which made it more restful and memorable on my 10 days stay with my family. Front desk checked us several times and asked if we were ok and if there is anything that they can do more for us which is an excellent care service to the hotel. We really do appreciated all these things. Overall all hotel staff meets our expectation and beyond. Thank you guys :)

This is a nice hotel. Moderately priced with amenities that outshine the price imo. My room was a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but it was cozy and offered a great view of the city. The internet was fast and the hotel offers up to 5 devices to connect under the same room. The staff was very friendly and inviting. They all looked like they enjoyed their jobs and were courteous and professional to guests at all times. The breakfast buffet offered a small variety of local favorites with a menu that changes daily. Some favorites, like bacon, are available upon request. The pool was maintained well. All kids are required to wear a life-vest, which is provided by the hotel! The pool itself is 3.5 - 5.5 ft. The hotel is situated on a very busy street. It is 1-2 KM from SM Makati, (walkable), but accessing the hotel from the street is a challenge because of the traffic immediately outside the hotel. The hotel is located at a corner of 2 big streets, so traffic lights play a role in this. What I didn't like about the hotel: The bed was very bouncy and not comfortable enough to absorb an straight 8-hour sleep. The shower did get warm, but not hot enough for my liking. And the room door bounced in the door frame whenever nearby rooms opened and closed their doors. All in all, I would return to this hotel and look forward to my next stay. :)

Staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, great hotel and great value for money. wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend this hotel to family and friends

Hello my kids love the pool the man at the pool is very helpful keeps a good eye on the kids

Friendly staff, esp Edgar; just 1 time saw a baby cockroach on the bed but otherwise clean room & bathroom; (offsite) parking gate was locked when we returned late night & we had to wait for an attendant (from the hotel) to come and open it; breakfast was the best, lots of choices at buffet tables, Sir Gab was most kind! We could choose this hotel again in the future.

We like the swimming pool children enjoying playing around the pool and the room was clean. But the wifi its to poor..
