Seda Ayala Center Cebu

The property is dirty and it smells. The food was horrible and the staff need more hospitality training. Not worth it for a 4 star hotel especially around Cebu business park. The building need to be updated especially their HVAC system, it smells so moldy and wet. Housekeeping staff need to be trained on cleanliness. When we arrived at our rooms (one for my spouse and one for our children), the bedsheets were wet, floors dirty, bidet had feces stain on it. This was unacceptable. We had Manager Hannah moved us to another room, it was better but still not 4 star standards.

the hotel had the impression that it is worn and old. poor option for breakfast for Europeans. in addition, the outdoor area was dirty, even though people were at work, no one washed or swept away the dirt and old leaves. the pool was also dirty and appears that it has not been washed for a long time. Here, leaves and debris were not removed, even though there were people at work. Also the staff at work, specialy the breakfast did not give any good service. For example, why do you need to ask for dried bacon instead of serving it finished? We asked for apple juice for our child, they needed to make it. Fair enough but they asked us to pay for the service. A good four or five star place would have done it as a service. Check in the reception took very long time. We had to wait for 30mins and thats too long… all in all the total experience og this hotel is that they cannot deliver a four or five star service..

Great hotel to stay at if you want to be close to Ayala mall. It was super convenient for us travelling with 2 younger kids, we could go back and forth with ease. Breakfast was great and staff super friendly. Downside is that they didn't really clean the rooms that well. Would've been good if the cleaned the toilets and vacuumed every day.

First, I just want to say I had to wait about 45 minutes to get my room. Then after I receive my room, they still have not prepared my second room. We are a family, so we are able to put our luggage in one but we could not shower or unpack. They told me it would take 10 minutes for the second room and then after an hour of waiting they still do not have it prepared. I went up to my room and told him to deliver me the key, which I still did not receive for another hour. I asked them not to clean the room, but they went in my room and threw my personal stuff anyways. Then, after taking out my dirty towels, they forgot to put a new ones which I discovered after I was done taking a shower. Gym equipment was very outdated and looks nicer in the picture than it really is. Because of the construction parking was very annoying and they wouldn’t let me unload my luggage at the front door and then parked the car. So I had to find the parking lot with my family and then bringing the luggage the long way. I have to say I was extremely disappointing from start to finish staying at this hotel. Even the breakfast was very disappointing and I had to wait 20 minutes just for glasses so I can simply have a drink. Then when they put out new glasses, I had to complain that the first three I grabbed were filthy. Decide to go purchase a bottle of water after that and eat breakfast elsewhere.
