For almost $300 a night I was expecting a bit more. The view was horrible from our room, looking at the back of shops. I could hear people upstairs in their room even when the shower was going we could hear it. Could hear children running around. However the bed and shower were amazing, the carpark area was very handy. I'd maybe stay again for the bed and shower alone lol

very happy about the Tauranga trip, HOD is an excellent choice for a small family, close to restaurants and shopping, safety carpark, and a welcome drink is a good idea.

Hotel was excellent and location was perfect. Central to everything and great selection of restaurants to choose from. Staff were friendly and the hotel provided us with all the necessities that a family requires. The rooms were spotless and daily service was great and the private car park was fantastic.Welcome drinks were a nice touch especially after a long day of driving and to be welcome like this just made our stay even more special and the bowl of fruit in the lobby and daily news paper were the other little touches that just made our stay even more memorable.Thanks for your great hospitality.
