Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport

The room suited our needs, was nice and clean, unfortunately the people who were in the room next to us were having a party and were so loud, they kept us and our grandchildren awake most of the night, not ideal when you have to travel with young children the next day.

The room was not basic at all - it was moor like a small apartment with kitchen sink kettle microwave pots ,pans frying pan and a fridge -- what could be better and only 7 minits by by there shutle bus and a good breakfast included in our two night stay, wish we add stayed there on our other visits to NZ we will stay there again on our next trip to see family. I like the customer service, the property's vicinity to airport and last minute shopping and eating venues. Room was big, bed was Super Comfortable, and having an adjoining room with our kids made it easy for them to be close where we could keep an eye on them but far enough for us to enjoy some privacy. Would definitely book at this property if we're even in Auckland again.

Given that we arrived at half past midnight, the shuttle driver was very awake and just lovely. The receptionist was busy and obviously tired and therefore forgot to give us the card which we needed to get our car out of the long term car park in the morning. We had no dinner and obviously at this time in the night would not get anything, so a few biscuits which are usually to be found in hotel rooms would have been lovely specially for kids, but there were none. However, overall these are little things. The rooms (we had interconnecting rooms) were amazing with plenty of space.

Very clean and spacious. We had interconnecting rooms as kids are teenagers needing their own space. Had even a large lounge and some kitchen area.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and we really appreciated the complementary transfers to and from the airports. Enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal in the restaurant. Maybe a little expensive for families with children

Thank family friendly for two loud energetic unsure toddlers - with many first time experiences eg: first plane ✈️ flights, first stay in a big hotel, first time at Rainbow ends, first time in Auckland and the motor way, So being left to regulate all their different emotional experiences was much appreciated-thank you-and the pool was their favourite parts. Just wished you had kids channels on the TV - too much religion programs that I didn’t appreciate. Thank you

Very spacious room for our family's overnight transit (2 adults/1 child/1 infant). Comfy beds, the complimentary shuttle was super as well as the option to do a quick room service in room without charge ahead of an early departure. Overall facilities were fairly basic, and our tv basically didn't work so we switched off at the wall. Would likely stay again for space, helpful staff and convenience.

Very safe, friendly staff, close to everything, great environment and absolutely cleanliness. Would i recommend this stay to family or friends? Absolutely 💯

Was clean and quiet. Did not like the fact that despite I spoke to them prior to arrival, and also checked 2 kids aswell as ourselves in one being a baby that we got put on top floor and offered no service of trolley to help. Had no way of heating or cleaning baby bottles. When spoke to someone about this they argued stating I should have told them I needed this equipment. Nor offered when I had checked if I could supply my own portacot. Very disappointed in the lack of help and service there was. Let alone property was clean but we had 2 spiders in our room. They argued saying I should have asked for a room downstairs which I had no clue where our room was. And I should of asked for a trolley (I didn't know they had trolleys)
