citizenM Schiphol Airport Hotel

Thought the welcome was excellent. We got an early check in at 1pm for no extra charge which was handy. Can’t fault the friendliness. Now the room! Let’s get the Big Elephant in the room out of the way. The toilet- I kid you not is in the centre of the room surrounded by frosted glass. Great if you are close to someone you’re sharing with but it is a little lacking in privacy. Same with the shower. All beds king size so no good if you want a twin. Bed very comfy. Very nifty technology in the room with the use of the I-Pad. Bar was extremely expensive. 9€ for a pint! Strewth! Would we use again? Maybe. But only if the price of the room remained low: we paid £120 for the night. Quite an experience going to the loo in the middle of the room - I kid you not!

Staff was excellent . ! While staying there we had a family emergency (heart attact). Robbie and Carlo (staff members ) were fantastic and very supported to all . Were dont have enough words to thank them all. . The whole staff team is helpul , supported and knowledgeable.

We love this convenient location, cleaness, and warm family like service from staff. Really enjoyed!

This is a great hotel for the price. Clean, good restaurant and walking distance to train station and airport. You need to walk outside to get there but walk is covered. The interesting room layout is good for a single overnight. Not sure I would recommend for longer stays. With two people in the room the toilet privacy is an issue (if that is important to you). Several members of my family have stayed here multiple times and it continues to be our go to hotel before trips out of AMS.

Great host at the reception area! She was very kind to our baby/toddler. Great food, the flavour was so rich that it was unexpectedly good! The room itself was def an experience. And the lobby is a great area to hang out, beautifully designed. And very short walk to Schiphol airport. Will stay there again!

Stayed for one night which was fun, ultra tech room controlled by a tablet, room was a little cramped with just glass cubicles for shower and toilet. Speaking to staff later rooms with a more private bathroom are available upon request so keep that in mind if you aren't with family. Great staff and good facilities though and literally 3 minutes from the terminal. Would stay again

Room was well designed and even though it was small, all space was fully optimised and comfortable. Really excellent stay and our family loved it!
