Urban Lodge Hotel

The hotel is new and clean. I love the modern design with features of Netherlands. The staff are also helpful and passionate. The hotel is close to the airport (10-30 mins by train). However, I find it a bit challenging to get from the hotel to the city center amid the cold rainy weather, especially with my kid. From the Sloterjsk station, it will take 30-45 mins to get to tourist spots like Van Gogh Museum / National Museum. As a result, you cannot go back to the hotel and take a short break between visiting various spots

Great hotel outside Amsterdam city center, great atmosphere for youngsters, easy 5 min tram from hotel to train and tram station, beautiful decor, we will stay at this hotel again for sure.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. At first, there was a problem with our room as there was a smokey smell, but the staff were very accommodating and changed our rooms. They tried to change for us to be closer to our children, but it didn't work out unfortunately. The staff tried and went above and beyond and were always friendly and welcoming every time we saw them. The location of the hotel is close to the bus/train/metro station. The space is very well decorated and cool and the rooms were comfortable.

It is a nice modern hotel, good design and decoration, but there is not much to do in the area. The staffs were nice, however, i think they need more training. I have booked a connected room (family room), but they only gave me a single room, then i talked to the staff and he seems like very confuse. He told me that we booked a single room in a connecting room, but it was not. We finally managed to get both rooms, and the rooms were good and clean. More, no one clean up our rooms during the stay.

Urban Lodge Hotel is in a great location, both from the airport and from central. We stayed for 4 nights and 4 days and found it really easy to get to the station from the hotel. They have a gym and a really cosy lounging area with a fire and board games, next to the breakfast bar. They offer breakfast at €12.50, which was a little expensive. However they supply free tea and coffee (freshly ground). We rented two bikes on the last day at €15 euro each for day and night. The hotel staff were really helpful with sorting that out for us. The only down side when checking in, was that we had to pay a tax of €40. I’m not sure if this was expensive in comparison to other hotel tax, but it was unexpected and not explained on their website whilst booking- so just a little heads up. Overall, the hotel was really warm, cosy and clean. Would give 5 stars and would recommend to everyone - families and couples. Would definitely come here again.
