The room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed. It was clean and generally well maintained. The shower was great - really powerful and easy to control the temparature, with room to move around in it. The breakfast was really good. There are a few "menu" items - I can recommend the waffles which were fluffy and delicious - alongside a comprehensive buffet. There was even prosecco available. The reception and bar staff were all very welcoming and helpful and we checked in and out etc with a minimum of fuss. The location is good - right by the museum district and with trams/metro to get to the station easily (or you can walk there in 30 mins or so). Word of warning to light sleepers - the walls seem to be quite thin so noise from other rooms really travels. We could hear children shouting and banging things until after midnight on the Friday night from one of the neighbouring rooms (not sure whether they were next door or above us) and it really affected our being able to get to sleep. The Saturday night was nice and quiet so it is basically pot luck as to whether you will get a good rest or not.

Excellent location of this cosy boutique hotel. Junior suite room very comfortable however a bit dark. For improvement: to propose a clean tea kettle instead of a stained one & to fix the safety box. The breakfast team forgot two days in a row our breakfast dishes. Quote disappointing. One of the dishes was the breakfast of my toddler : quite annoying. The scarf of one my guest was lost at the breakfast table. Awaiting for follow up from the front desk (Roxana) of this shocking incident.

We came to stay for a weekend. We were a group of 5, 4 adults and a baby, with 2 rooms. They added a cot to the room with no issue, and gave a slightly bigger room to accommodate it. Bed was super comfy, the TV lets you plug in your own devices (Fire Stick) and overall was a good stay. We didn't make use of the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Vondel Park is about 1 minute's walk, which is great. The only potential drawback was that in 1 of the rooms, the shower and toilet were in cubicles directly off the bedroom, so not as much privacy as a standard separate bathroom. This was only in one of the 2 rooms though, so you could probably ask to change if that's a big deal for you. The location was spectacular, the staff friendly, and the bar area great. For the price and location, we'd definitely stay here again if we come back to Amsterdam.

We went to Amsterdam for our 50th wedding anniversary, our family went with us to enjoy the time. Our hotel room was very clean and super comfortable. We would definitely book a room here if we should ever go to Amsterdam again. Great location, close to many restaurants, shops, and also museums. Loved it. Watch out for the bikers lol......

This lovely historic hotel is right in front of canal tours and across from an easy access across the canal to central Amsterdam. The opposite direction, just a block or so away, is the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and other attractions. It is easily accessible via Uber, walking, bikes, and public transport. Our large rooms included (king junior suites) Nespresso machines and lovely views. However, they were not easily accessible as there are stairs to walk. We did not have a seamless check in experience, but staff offered to make it up when we checked out.

Amazing hotel . Incredible staff, very helpful. We met Joaquin at the check in counter , he was excellent and very helpful in every way. We had a junior sweet , very comfortable , however the room needs some renovations, we could see where there had been some water damages. The lobby was beautiful.

I feel that the photographs are misleading we booked a junior suite and expected a separate room with a sofa in it or a bed for my daughter but it was all in one room. My 16 year old daughter was expected to sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed.

Nice glamorous hotel with excellent brekkie. Busy lobby bar. Very noisy, lot of difficulty with the a/c which was fixed, cant open windows. junior suite was a strange config, gorgeous bedroom but the other space was like a remnant walk in closet/hallway, certainly would not spend any time in there. Very very comfortable bed and great shower.

Very nice hotel. Lovely comfortable rooms - we had a junior suite. Great walk in rain shower. Breakfast was delicious and breakfast service brilliant. Children loved the pool table. Very warm and cosy lobby. Walking distance to many things. Would recommend and return.
