Much better rooms assigned to our family this 2nd visit being on the 7th floor.

The hotel is very clean, has the modern vibe. It is only a minute walk from the metro. Our room was very spacious. We were worried that the room was going to be small for a family of 4, but it is bigger than a lot of rooms we have stayed at U.S.. Staff was super friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We had a great 4-night stay at this hotel as part of a family trip in Europe. The hotel is only a few months old (at the time of this review), so everything felt new and fresh - the lobbies and hallways were very clean, the rooms were modern, and there was a lot of useful technology implemented (for example, we really liked being able to use the touch screen to indicate "do not disturb" and room cleaning requests instead of using paper door tags like most hotels). The staff was extremely friendly during check-in and throughout our stay, and offered their sincere help whenever we had questions or concerns. The location of the hotel is also very convenient - it is a 2 minute walk from the Nord metro station which takes you directly to the heart of Amsterdam in less than 10 minutes. The only downside of our stay is that the room, as part of trying to feel modern, had a few "quirks" that made for a slightly less comfortable stay. For example, the open concept shower looked great, but led to a ton of water all over the bathroom. The bathroom mirror was also very high up, to the point where one of our family members who is 4'11" could not even see herself in the mirror. Lastly, the rooms do not have a phone that connects you to the front desk - although they have a WhatsApp chat you can use, we felt a traditional phone would have been easier. But other than these minor quirks, we were very happy with our stay! This hotel is great value for money and a strong "hidden gem"!
