Mercure Amsterdam North Station

Great location if you want to be just outside the city, great room and space with children.

Great room for a family of 4 with rare space and great all had beds and no sofa bed. Disappointed in lack of amenities in room - no body lotion, condition, shower caps, cotton wool … all assumed would be there for a city break. Breakfast great.

The hotel is brand new which opened a couple of weeks ago I guess. The location is super as it’s very close to Amsterdam Noord metro terminal. I stayed in a double room which is quite spacious. My room was very clean and nicely decorated. My bed was so comfortable. Hotel staff were very kind and were always available whenever I had questions. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of hot items and fresh fruits. The coffee was brilliant. I think it’s really an excellent solution for business and family trip. Would stay here again if visiting amsterdam. Highly recommended!

the hotel is conveniently located next to a transit center, and priced much better than hotels in the city center with smaller rooms. it would have been perfect for staying in amsterdam if some staff could be more polite to their guests. they didn't have to be rude to guests not familiar with their facilities, e.g., when guests thought the slow revolving door stopped working and tried pushing it gently, there was absolutely no need to yell at them, at least to the ones didn't appear to be children or idiots. just tell them the door is automatic, they will slow down.
