The front desk manager was awesome. It was my best friend's birthday so they decorated our room with rose petals a vase of roses and a beautiful chocolate cake and pillows etc. The front desk guy wasnt very accommodating at first and we had some issue with getting the upgrade but the manager gave us a fairly decent upgrade and allowed us to check in at 1pm. The property is beautiful very grand. our room was quite spacious for two women with lots of luggage. We're close to everything. The Concierge was excellent. very good recommendations and our taxi driver which was recommended by him was excellent the cab driver is called Rashid very patient and helpful. The bellhops are very helpful. Breakfast selection is more than generous and very delicious. Overall I'd give this hotel a 9/10 my main issue is with he front desk workers none were any good we interacted with 3, which we found very surprising since the manager is stella first class. I will be returning with my family as soon as spring break if possible. This is definitely a repeat hotel.

We had a horrible experience. Booking this based on 5 star ratings and got one of the expensive suite rooms as we were travelling with our 8month old son - his first holiday. Based on 5-star rating quoted here we booked 4night stay there. Basically, do not get carried away by the star ratings - it is more like 2/3 star facility. Not fit for infants. In the prestige suit room there were screws coming out from the floor, room was not clean and had dust and debris on the floor. On request a baby cot was provided with a ripped mesh on the side which is a strangling hazard - none of these say 5star. We had to stay the first night due to baby’s sleep pattern after the flight and checked out next morning cutting our stay down to 1 day. Room was not safe for infants and staff did not co-operate with use when we decided to leave the property by checking out early. Loads of pictures to share about the condition of the property and safety hazards. One of the staff supervisors promised to issue refund but other staff turned against when we wanted to check out. Spent hours speaking to all levels of staff from front desk, senior management and directors who all were not helpful at all. Expedia should review the rooms and facilities and consider reviewing the star ratings as well as customer ratings which are misleading. We spent so much time discussing matter with staff at the hotel - wasting precious time to see Marrakech with our 8month old. Expedia refunded unused days

Checkin process was smooth and the hotel staff was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The buffet gets hectic 2 hours after start so highly advise you arrive early. They have a nice indoor people that is quiet. Overall, okay but have some room or opportunity to improve. For example, cups and plates at breakfast had a stinky smell even though they were supposedly brand clean. The staff at night is not equipped to handle first aid cases nor do they handle escalations well, they also flagged us as having 1 individual when we clearly checked in as a family (error on their records and they were apologetic).

In a nut shell.... Nora an absolute sweetheart... Management cold ... 11:15 pm b 4 settling in for the night I noticed sliding doors to deck of suite not lockable .. Called front desk... X2 told to pack up ....Took an hour or so for anyone to show than another hour to find a room ... Than doors didn't work in that room either... Another room door not work there... Said they'd someone up to fix ... It's almost 3 am and a sweet young man who works at hotel & as confused as I fixed it... Upon check out I get a bill for local taxes for the 5 night stay... I suggested the least they could do was cover those taxes which by the way were minimal maybe a 1/4 of a 1 night stay... Manager came out.... Tried to tell me Expedia wants that tax... I explained my understanding is that local taxes unless stated are pd at the property.. .. Due to the property .. Told him I had no room for almost 4 hrs till 3 am...I might add I was traveling alone if had had someone with me may not have been that big a deal... I lock my deck doors in my own home at night....I did ask after listening to him rant...is there something wrong with you..?. He stormed off into his office never to be seen again... But the staff who saw this ... Said this is normal behavior... They it seems not to impressed by their supervisor... All I could think of was a toddler having a temper tantrum ..other issues as well.... It's like a shiny red apple ... Looks beautiful until you bite into it and find its rotten on the insid

Nice hotel in terms of premises and rooms but: - You won't get the robes and slippers that are promised for every room unless you ask 10 times - Not enough towels provided for the number of guests, and if you request them they won't bring them. - Tea/coffee facilities in room but they will only give you 1 teabag, 1 milk and 1 mug even if you have a family room with 3 people! Instead you will be asked to order from room service! - Maids will make up your bed but not clean your room/floors/balcony/bathroom at any time during a full week. - If the restaurant sends out the wrong meal or your food cold - they will still charge you and expect you to pay the full bill. - Expect to take 30 minutes to check-in. No preparation is done and the staff are very slow. - The only hotel in the world that charges you for an extra teabag - just for liking a strong pot of tea! - Staff are generally rude and impolite. - When you check out, you need a slip to leave the hotel but the staff didn't provide this to us so they were telling us we couldn't leave!!! - If you like tea at breakfast - expect to ask for a pot at least 4 times before you get it. There seems to be a shortage of cutlery in the hotel too. Overall a hotel that seems to rely on a few celeb connections and give all of their attention to these more high value customers.
