In a general sense, everything was fine with the hotel, it’s generally nice, clean, and has all the expected amenities for a modern western hotel. I specifically booked this hotel because I was looking for a nice resort style pool to have a chill, adult, relaxing day at the pool for my last day in very sunny Marrakech. Upon arrival to the hotel, it very quickly became apparent that the hotel catered to (wealthy) French tourists, and French families. I initially was very excited about the pool and to spend some time sun-bathing, and drinking adult beverages. I was very prepared to spend (a lot of) money at the pool to receive service and have a relaxing afternoon. At the pool, it again became apparent that I was not French. The first drink I got at the pool bar, I practically had to ask for service, I had to ask for a menu, I couldn’t open a tab, and the server said if I wanted more service out at the pool I would have to get it with a pool server. He lied to me, he was a pool server, and I frequently noticed him serving other (French) guests by the pool. My first drink took an eternity to get (even by Moroccan standards) while I observed the non-pool server serving other (French) pool guests. All the while he was desperately trying to ignore me while I continued to wait for my first drink. Eventually I was able to flag down another server catering to a wealthy French couple in my vicinity by the pool and had to blatantly ask for service. I stayed for only a little bit longer

3night stay on BB basis. 2 adults 1 infant. Hotel was good but there are a few flaws within the hotel which let it down. But if corrected would make this a great 5* hotel. 1) we stayed in the delux suite (room numbers 7000 ). Some of the finishings in our room were clumsy and not something you would expect in a 5*. E.g. there was no soft close toilet seat or on the toilet glass door. The bedside lights do not have a switch on them and are not connected to the main switch. You have to pull the plug out from behind the cabinet to turn them off. The sockets are loose and a hazard. The stand up lamp continued to flicker due to loose plug connection. The lid on the water filter on the coffee machine was broken The lift doors in the building block for room numbers 7000 seem to close extremely quickly. I found myself caught between the doors on a number of times as it doesn't detect someone going through. I find this extremely dangerous given our child could've got caught in the door. This could be easily corrected by delaying / slowing down the lift door Timings. The staff overall are wonderful, however I feel the staff operating in room services via the phone require more training. Perhaps a language barrier where the person did not understand. We had a power cut in our room. The fuse had tripped and we had no electricity. I called services explaining this and for someone to come and have a look as we are out for dinner. The person on the phone said ok and put the phone

Not sure why, but when I booked this reservation I made sure I entered 2 adults and 1 child 15 years old, as Expedia gives you the choice to enter from 1 to 17 years of age. When I got to the hotel the front desk agent wanted to charge me 2000 dirham. We had a discussion about it and I showed him how I booked. First he said that I had to pay, I then asked to speak with the manager, after 20 min waiting for their decision, he decides not to charge me anymore. I am not sure what the issue was between them am Expedia. Anyways, after all that he was nice to us and we checked in. Hotel was very clean and we had an amazing experience in Morroco.

Absolutely lovely hotel. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. A great and varied breakfast. This hotel really caters for everyone and equally appreciated that children want to enjoy their holidays too. There are several pools allowing adults and young families alike to enjoy themselves.

The hotel, pools, rooms and grounds are lovely ( there are three pools to choose from and a kiddies pool). The gym was quite good too. It’s not far from the nightlife/main attractions at all. However after check out the reception guy cancelled the payment of my bill and I had to go back to reception to pay AGAIN..... which I thought was very unprofessional. Once I paid again I went back to my room to collect my luggage only to be stopped by the bellboys who tried to tell me to go back to reception to sort out the bill which I had already done. I was not happy and that’s when someone from reception rushed over and said it’s fine and then I was allowed to go. Overall the hotel is lovely but the staff need to not cancel transactions once a guest has paid (how this happened I do not know) and improve their communication with one another.
