Holiday Inn Huatulco, an IHG Hotel

Service was very good, they only need to improve in the attention to detail when you order room service, when I asked for something in specific they forgot... but immediately when I told them they corrected the error. Everything else was great, I recommend this hotel for families.

Great location. We walked to and from centre of town several times via the well lit, easy walking path or ‘turistico corredor’. We ate at a few restaurants round the corner and at the nightly family-run food stands that set up around the Santa Cruz Square. Best burrito I’ve ever had! Also freshly made ice cream from a cart. Lively square at night especially on Friday and Saturday nights. There is a small market with stalls selling souvenirs. Short walk to Playa Santa Cruz to swim. great beach but busy. Wonderful and helpful staff. Really clean. Beds were so comfy. Strong wifi as per kids. Kids and we enjoyed the pool as well. Hotel restaurant is good but you can get better around the corner. Easy to get to - Taxi stand at the square with fixed prices to popular destinations but we mostly walked everywhere.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent drinks and great food. My only complaint is the wifi is weak on the 3rd floor. Could not relax in bed and FaceTime my family. Had to go downstairs or stand by the door. Also the tv is wifi based so that did not work either. Thanks

Hotel was right next to the bay and walking distance to many restaurants right next to the beach. We ate by the beach daily. Staff was extremely friendly! They went above and beyond. Upon check in they offered us drinks to cool us off. Upon check out they discovered I left my baby blanket and brought it down quickly.
