Our stay was awful!!! DO NOT STAY in this hotel they charge you for things that are not provided or they will accused you for stealing either you pay or they will not return the cash deposit $1,000.00 pesos. This was very humiliating and extremely sad not only for my family, my persona and other guest staying at this hotel. The day we check out they had told us that a laundry bag was missing and that we needed to pay $150.00 pesos or they wouldn't return our deposit. We had explained that there was no laundry bag since we got there and why would we take something that does not belong to us. They had told my husband that they will go check the room. After they told us that they had found it with dirty clothes. While my husband was at the front counter I went to the room and no one was there. Someone went to meet me at the room and nothing was there. I came down and all of the sudden a lady "supervisor" came and said it was a mistake but we couldn't leave until they find the bag. I made it clear that we were not going to pay for something it was never there. In the afternoon when we pick up our luggage we notice that there was a Canadian couple been accused to steal a towel because employees couldn't find it. Then employees told the guest that they will call the "tourist police" if they continue to complain. THAT'S A TREAT! This is insane! how can these people get advantage of guest like this? The food is "ok", towels & sheets are old, stain, grayish, and frayed.

This property was very nice… i had read reviews regarding no windows situation but that didnt affect us at all. All the request that where made the hotel accomplished. We have small children and needed a fridge which they didnt have but they made all efforts for my children to have there milk in the room. Ernesto the bell boys were amazing and they accommodated with tours which made it much easier for our family and made us feel much safer. Breakfast was amazing as well as their restaurants. Check in was smooth even though we got there earlier than expected.

We traveled out of the country to come to this hotel. The travel was long and tiring especially when carrying a small child. It took us a while to reach the hotel since there was a festival going on at the time. Our taxi had to drop us off about 4 streets away from the hotel. It felt like an eternity to reach the hotel since we where carrying luggage and a fuzzy child. We finally arrived at the hotel to check in around 1pm, but to our surprise we where told we couldn’t check in until 3pm. I did ask if there was anyway we could check in earlier but was told “no, but if you come back at 2:30pm, we might be able to check you in 30 minutes early.” At this point we had no other choice but to wait, the lobby is small and not much room, a family was already occupying most of the seats. They did offer us to sit in the dining area, but our child was crying and couldn’t sit still. They did store our luggage’s until it was time to check in. We then left the hotel to try and make the time pass and distract our child until it was time to check in. We then made it back to the hotel at 2:30pm with the hopes of being able to finally check in. We made our way to the front the desk to check in and the lady said we couldn’t check in until 3pm. At this point we where just furious since we were so exhausted and our child wouldn’t stop crying. They watched us struggle in the lobby for the next 30 min. The stay was ok, wouldn’t recommend the hotel for a small child they are not very accommodating.

BEWARE! If you make reservations then change and/or cancel them, this hotel will charge a FULL night's stay. At the hotel front desk, they tried to tell me that this was an Expedia policy. No, no it's not. This policy is on the hotel trying to make money. The managers of this hotel are crooks! Secondly, I have never been treated in such a denigrating way by check-out staff. The day we arrived, we checked in and the next day we noticed that a hanger (a much older wooden hanger) was broken. I did not break it. I don't even use hangers. I notified the cleaning staff and they said, "We'll take care of it." When I went to check out, they charged me $70 pesos extra for the old broken hanger! What? It wasn't so much the $70 pesos, which was ridiculous, but the way in which the front desk staff treated me - seriously, like children. Insulting! I will never stay at this hotel again. And I'm writing to warn others to NOT stay at this hotel. Stay at your own risk!

Everyone was very respectful, helpful, and friendly!! They went above and beyond for my family and me. We took one of their private Tours, and it was very safe and the driver was honest and friendly! We regret not listening to the hotel staff to use Their Tours/drivers. We got an uber to xochimilco, and it turned out to be a terrible experience. The uber driver took us to a different “embarcadero” and his friends charged us three Times the price of the tour in trajineras. They also stole some of our personal belongings. Do NOT trust uber or taxis!! They tell you that their friend is a licensed tour guy and that he is very honest. The supposedly tour guy even shows you a government issued badge with his photo, that he is licensed to be a tour guy for Mexico City. Dont believe him; the badge is fake. We learned the hard was! Even the guys Who are on a bicycle as taxis take advantage of tourists. They charged us 5 Times the price. My point is to NOT trust anybody even if they pretend to be Helping you!! Only trust the hotel staff.

Im so glad to find this hotel, im so overwhelmed about the hospitality of the staff. Super friendly staff, clean, tidy, safe, quiet, super breakfast buffet, very close the shopping, very close to historic plaza, Zocalo. My room is super clean and very modern. I will definitely gonna come back here and recommend to friends and family. I have to say, many thanks!

EXCEPT for the clerk that was VERY unprofessional at the time we checked out the Hotel and staff (except that male clerk) were excellent. We requested the night before an extra 30 min check out time due that a family member would bring us an extra luggage around 12:30 pm in order to fit all the extra stuff that we acquired in CDMX. We were told that it wouldn’t be a problem. We took 15 min At 1 pm the front desk clerk (male and kind of heavy set) did start to rushing my family out of the room like we were totally strangers! At that time I was outside the hotel waiting for my brother in law to deliver the extra luggage and didn’t see what was happening. Unfortunately for some reason one of the plastic plates that hold the soap in by the sink was missing.! (we had two security deposits with the hotel for $5000 pesos and $1000 for the just in case). The front desk clerk demanded to my wife to empty all our luggage on the floor and have the room re-inspected to make sure nothing else was missing! We spend 5 nights at the hotel, tipping very well the made and the door personnel DAYLY.!!! Plus having a total of $6000 pesos ($300 dollars aprox) in security deposit and two credit cards open for any incidentals. I got a call from my wife to come in and deal with the issue, specially with this man and his attitude. I could fixed it very quick with the temper that I have but decided to be the better person in this situation. All this for $50 pesos ($2.5 dollars) for the plate!

This hotel is CLEAN. The staff are attentive and polite. Location couldn't be better. It may not have a spa or pool but when you are in the heart of Mexico City, the last thing you need is to be cooped up in a hotel. Their complentary breakfast is great and there are great food vendors next door along with shopping and plenty of site seeing. I cannot recommend them enough. My family and I are so happy that we stayed with them and we never once worried about our safety. You cannot got wrong with them!

Horrible experience with management. Despite showing them how we booked online thru hotels.com and included our 2 children in the reservation, where it stated that children stayed for free, they said that in their end the reservation only showed 2 adults. Additionally, when reserving with hotels.com the hotel description had breakfast included, but in their copy of the reservation it did not show. Unfortunately, the last confirmation sent to me the night before, which I saw the day of, omitted the 2 children, and although it stated that children stayed for free, it was not valid proof for management. We had to pay for our breakfast and the price was simply too much for a terrible breakfast and dinner the night before.
