Cadillac Hotel Boutique

It’s a very beautiful hotel, the murals on the wall were mesmerizing. Staff was very friendly. However: There is No AC. I reserved a room that had an advertised patio but there was no patio. Beds were very stiff. The hotel itself was very clean, but 2/4 nights I stayed, the sheets were stained, there was not toilet paper, and no floor towel. In addition, rooms were advertised as soundproof but I could hear it all: Doors opening and slam shut, people talking and laughing, kids crying.

The thing that annoyed me the most about this property is that I had traveled all day to get to Mexico and I was extremely tired. I was told I couldn't check in until 3p because all of the rooms were full. I said ok and waited 2.5 hours. It was 2:56pm when I asked if I could check in, but instead of being accommodated, I was told I needed to wait 5 more minutes! Are you kidding me?! They actually told me to wait 5 more minutes until it was exactly 3pm. I was beyond livid because my room was available and so waiting an extra 5 minutes made no sense. When I finally get to the room, it smelled like backed-up sewage. The smell was strongest in the bathroom. There were times when I had to hold my breath because the smell was so bad. And because there is NO air conditioning in the rooms, there was zero air filtration. I was there for 4 nights, and every night I would wake up drenched in my own sweat, and coughing from dry air. This was not an ideal vacation stay. The sewage smelled grossed me out every day and the lack of central air is a joke given the cost of the rooms at this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to further travelers.
