Hotel Real Maestranza

People from the restaurant and house keeping were friendly and polite. I didn’t like that I was charge to do a early check in and the room that I got it had the sheets dirty. And our last day a kid was running around at 11pm . And hitting the walls and slamming the doors.

Amazing! Stayed with family. Walking distance to cathedral, shops, and food!

Customer service not what it used to be. We’ve been staying at this hotel since it opened up every time we’re in Guadalajara. All this time customer service and cleanliness have been amazing. But this last time our room had a funny smell and nobody could explain it. I have referred a lot of friends and family members through out the years. My son stayed there and they messed up his reservation and charged him extra. I am debating if I will go back to maestranza next time I’m in Guadalajara, which is at least once a year.

I really enjoyed my 7 day stay with my family I payed extra for a roll away bed and it was a very nice comfortable single bed. I would definitely recommend this place for any family nice centrally located in the center heart of the beautiful historic city. Front desk staff just need some improvement on how to greed customers. Alexis the bell men book our tours and he’s amazing. Restaurant dine in open till 12am with great food with 24 hr room service . Housing keep was amazing she was very nice to us and help us with my requests. Keep the good work will definitely return to this place !!

Our family had a very comfortable stay here for 3 nights. Service and location were excellent. Big plus for very comfy beds! Will be back!

Stay overall was good. Walls are a little thin as we could hear children playing in the next room at 11pm at night which was a bit frustrating. Staff were very nice and helpful.

This is a very lovely hotel with an upscale feel. The pictures online are just terrible. In reality it is very lovely. There is an art gallery in the first floor, nice restaurant. Location is walking distance to the main attractions of the city- main plaza and cathedrals. Horse carriage rides etc. the hotel has a small terrace and bar for drinks, mingling. I traveled with kids so I didn’t use it much. I loved that the rooms were cleaned daily - in the US you have to ask for it now; here, it is still standard. Very modern rooms and space outs bathrooms. Double bed rooms are double beds, not queen size. Just fyi. I would pick this place over fiesta Americana or Riu or double tree- the other places I was looking to book. More authentic experience, nice, and in the center of town (so is double tree btw, but still I’d pick this non- chain)

This place Rocks!!!! In a good way. Very attentive, highly professional, from the parking lot gate-keeper to the service desk to the chef, to the chef, such excellent food, such excelent service from the wait stall. Jazz plays in the background. I will definetely return with my family. Hopefully Real Maestranza will keep the formula of excellence working for many years to come.
