Sleep Inn Mexicali

We had 3 rooms booked family trip . Check in at 3 we arrived at 4 and 1 room was not ready . And I asked for rooms near each other and could not offer we were scattered.

Last minute reservation of a double bed for 2 adults and 2 kids, got there at midnight to find out they were all sold out for double beds and only had a standard room available, only option was to take it or cancel the reservation. Front desk guy was very apologetic but stated he couldn't do more since he had already upgraded a guest for similar reasons and blamed the "agency i used to make my reservation for the mistake" in this case Hotels.com. After i agreed to keep the room( only because kids were sleeping and was not sure if i would find something else), he couldn't finalize the booking because the number of people exceeded the room capacity for a standardroom, he called his manager to help him and was instructed to manually change the number of people staying to 2 to finalize the booking. Front desk guy brought an extra pillow, 2 blankets and a mattress cover so the vinyl floor wouldn't be to hard on my husband to sleep on the floor, no roll aways available. We cut our stay short due to comfort level, got there at 12am and left at 6:30am.

we have stayed here many time because it is close to my family in mexico , but everytime if is not one thing is another.

It was good be there, the personnel was very helpful all the time, in the reception, not too much smiles but accomplish the job, they don’t pick you up from the airport, the breakfast was ready with the chef on order, that means she was attending, it was good but not toasted bread that’s my only complain, the best part for me was the driver who make me a shuttle to the bus station, he was very helpful, I offer him a tip but he refuse so sweet, telling me buy something for your kid, I loved his service, and a very good driver. The only point to care was to much stuff on the way in the hallways around the hotel, the room was clean with enough to survive there😍!!!
