The property is a gem due to the rustic beauty and lack of surrounding development. The service was slow but friendly. The splash pool and beach are perfect for young families. Because the hotel is not exclusively all inclusive the process is cumbersome to sign check for absolutely everything, even just for a bottle of water.

This was our first time to the Islands of Loreto and we will be back! You don’t need to leave, after the 30 min drive from the airport. This is the only resort around. They are building condos/houses but we never heard anything. We had our 2 and 4 year old kids with us, they loved it! Sherlyn at kids club is the best! The grounds are immaculate, cactuses and palm trees everywhere and so well maintained. The food (for an all inclusive) is delicious! Oscar at the pool bar is excellent! Go the all inclusive route (we did) as the prices are $$$ if you don’t.The staff at all the restaurants (Market -breakfast, Pool Bar -lunch, Clubhouse/Market/Casa Mia-dinner) are so friendly and want to make your stay the best it can be! The beach is so shallow (knee deep for a long way), great for kids, walking, etc. We took a paddle board and kayak out one day with our kids and it was so fun going to the little beaches. The weather wasn’t the greatest for our week there, we didn’t try snorkelling. They have 9.5km of trails all around the property, we went to viewpoint #3, with our kids, apparently you can see the whales from certain areas (when they come in a few weeks). Hole #17 at Danzante Bay Golf Course is breathtaking! You can go for a tour to their signature hole, ask at the Golf Desk. We didn’t golf, cus we had the kids, but next time we go we will! Manuel, one of the caddy’s, is so friendly and professional! Any golfers dream to golf at that course! Rooms are very clean and spacious.

Let me start with the positives. The property is beautiful and secluded.
Coming to the negatives, the overall service of the front desk and room service etc was abysmal. I am not usually the type who posts a feedback or complains , but the service at this place got onto my nerves. Any request that was made to the front desk took 3+ hours. Room service for our orders were sent wrong multiple times. While we were checking out they messed up the bill and added an additional charge of 200$ (for what?!) which took almost 45 mins to rectify causing us to almost miss our flight. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my family/friends and would never be returning there myself.

There were 5 of us in our group, including our 5 year old son. We all had a blast. The staff was outstanding and extremely kind. We relaxed and swam in the pools daily and enjoyed the beach and activities there (kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and paddle boat). We saw a ton of manta rays jumping all day...so fun to paddle around them in the water. Highly recommend all-inclusive package. We'll definitely be back and brining more family.

Location was remote and pleasantly relaxing (not as stressful as the touristy Cabo drunks, and chicklette kids and omni-present beach vending). Food provided was very well done at restaurants. Service showed they wanted to exceed expectations (STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE), all the way AROUND.
Utility equipment plants a bit noisy, especially at nite BEHIND THE COMPLEX. Surprised at NO BBQs available for longer term villa or hotel suite residents. Cooking equipment and supplies in rooms a bit spartan for a resort villa.

We just came back from a 4 day stay at the beautiful Villa Del Palmar. Located right on the bay; shallow and warm water; great for children.
Beautifully landscaped hotel, comfortable rooms and beds. Staff was extremely friendly and pleasant.
My only complaint would be service by the pool area can be slow and also if you ask for extra towels, hangers, or anything else for your room, they will tell you yes and never deliver what you asked for. Internet only in the lobby, very sporadic at the pool, and none in the rooms.
