We definitely enjoyed our stay, and the view from our room was great - we will be back in the future. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The hotel pool and the main bar were both closed. Our family has been there prior and got to enjoy those but neither were available this time. It wasn't communicated in advance either, (would have been great to know) but I visited their website and on there it listed that we would get free transportation to/from a host hotel, and could also use their bikes. That is the only way I even knew those items were options. There was only 1 bike available, and it was quite the feat getting to the host pool. It wasn't until our 3rd day when they finally figured it out after back & forth w/multiple staff members & the host pool. When we finally got to go, it was great, but it definitely took a lot of follow-up. It was so hot out that not having a pool easily accessible was hard. Also, for being a place that focuses on fisherman, I felt the cost to store our few small bags of fish was pretty pricy. If we had a large amount, it would be more understandable, but it costs the same it seems like, no matter how much you have. The clam bake on Saturday was a lot of fun and very tasty. I wish more guests had taken advantage. The breakfast buffet was also great and included for guests. The staff was amazing at the restaurant! Hopefully, they can figure some of these items soon before their busy season.

Enjoyed our stay here with family. Sure it's an older hotel but it's a great walkable location, had amazing oceanfront views, beach-combing opportunities, great breakfast buffet, heated pool and excellent Wifi. Our room faced the ocean, had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. Be sure to set your alarm to catch the amazing sunrise! Don't worry if you forget to though as the neighbouring rooster will help ensure you don't miss it lol.

Good location and has lots of potential. The room is good size but a bit outdated. The first day there was a little lizard welcoming us in our room! Fun for the kids but a bit scary for me. Good thing it didn't end up in our bed. Breakfast was pretty good but service was just so so. And kids stay free but don't eat free - at the moment, 110 pesos per kid for breakfast. There is vent in the bathroom but it does have a bad smell, so we tried to close the toilet lid plus the bathroom door. And they still use old fashioned key to open the room. Not a big deal but a bit odd to actually got handed a remote control for TV at check in.

I arrived to book in person as we had no other local options and I had my husband and 3 kids. I asked the price for a room and was quoted $131. I showed the hotels.com deal and they said they would honor it, but they were trying to tell me I had to book a larger room because I had 3 small children and the room was meant for “4 people “ I explained that actually that’s referring to adults and children stay free, as stated on the hotel page. They made it so difficult for me that I just told them I’d book via hotels.com. Then they said that they didn’t receive the booking and told me they needed to charge my card there, plus a $50 deposit they said I’d receive back and never did. I’ve now paid twice for this hotel, and didn’t get my deposit back, which is a joke because we left the dingy room exactly how we found it. The only good thing about our stay was the pool and beachside restaurant.
