It’s a massive hotel with few other sister hotels right next to it. The hotel itself is in need of renovations, the hallways, the surrounding areas are outdated, carpets worn off, some areas in the hotel covered ( presume for some lift work). The breakfast selection wasn’t great. Same things every day( we stayed 6 days) the eggs, omelettes were cold or just luke worm. The bathroom had some mold on the tiles, some tiles chipped and glued back, the sink was stained yellow from the water. The hotel had plenty of sun loungers, plenty space by the pools.Pools smelled very strongly of bleach, so the sea that’s near by was such a relief! The access to the sea is rocky, and deep, so not for children. The towels that guests need to collect from the spa ( to be used by the pool) were in shocking condition, most of them torn, in wholes from wear/tear, rough and in dirty smudges. The food in the restaurants, especially Sole was excellent. Overall, not a five star hotel, I would give 3. There’s a lot of building work happening around the hotel, the roads are partially closed, so the location in general seems more like a construction site.

The staff here were very friendly and accommodating. Made my children feel at home. Upgrade to a deluxe suite on the 5th floor with great view of the pools and the sea. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The pool bar was nice. The food quantity and quality at Henry was very good. Only down side is the walk into town is bit uphill but was not an issue for us or the kids. Construction work happening around the area, but did not affect our stay.

This was our second visit to Corinthia properties with many more to come . We had an excellent stay last year in Budapest. We met Marvin owner of Caviar Bull Restaurant in Corinthia Budapest . He recommended we come to Malta and invited us to visit . We fell in love with Malta we were treated very nice . Marvin’s three restaurants at the Corinthia Malta are amazing, beautiful and the most delicious highest quality food . He and his staff treat you like family they are wonderful. Jonathan the manager at Corinthia was amazing really gave us the highest level of treatment. We will be back many times and refer all our friends.

This was a fine hotel once upon a time and there is still kind of a glorious and nice entrance hall but with: damaged air condition, dirty terrace, water kettle that dont work, broken parasols everywhere, the first 3 days we couldn’t get beach towels, booked room with 2 separate beds-got one large (fixed after 2 days), mold in bathroom, small children with inflatables in spa pool and adult pool…list goes on... It seems like management is disaster. When even employees confirm this, no more doubts here! Food is just ok, nothing to talk about, some of it is tasty (stale). Room is spacious and beds confortable but when hotel is so old and you can easy see that whole complex needs renovation, its not so hard to conclude that most important thing is to milk money. And money you pay for one week here is almost a rip off, compared to what you get in return. Have asked for few hours late check out because of late flight (we had also arrived very late) but got blank answer “hotel is booked”. This was nail in coffin for me. Clearly worst “5 star” hotel ever I stayed at! Do yourself favor and book another place, there is many of them!

Hotel commands a fantastic location on St George's Bay. Excellent facilities and helpful staff. Decent breakfast service. Did note the large number of non hotel residents occupying sun loungers every day (they wear coloured wrist bands and pay for a day pass). Their number increased greatly at weekends, with whole families descending on the lido. And they come with packed lunches. Needs to be better controlled.

The hotel is not new. Wall colour in some places needs a renovation. But it is clean and they clean everyday. The breakfast is really good. Very good location close to Pacevill but in a quiet area so you can enjoy the silence and the view. The stuff is very friendly. We had 2 problems with our room that they quickly solved. And they are ready to help and answer any question. Good place for the families as well. We enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent location for bars, restaurants - close yet far enough not to be noisy. Nice pool. But rooms in need of refurbishment (threadbare curtains, dirty carpets, broken bathroom fixtures). Staff very friendly but customer service is mediocre - eg On arrival, I was told I had been upgraded to use the Executive Lounge (private area with complimentary snacks and drinks) but when I tried to get in they said they had made a mistake & I could not use it after all. This was embarrassing to me and disappointing to my kids who had gotten excited about it. Withdrawing it was very unprofessional. Overall, I think this is a nice hotel but very overpriced for what it is.
