We booked two hotel rooms, but one of the rooms was missing when we arrived. We had to prove that we had two bookings, and after an hour of back and forth, we finally got the room. Since it was late and we were hungry, we just left our belongings in one room and went out to eat. When we returned to the second room, there was a terrible smell, either mold or a bad urine odor. We asked them to clean or do something about it. They cleaned, but the smell did not go away. The next morning, we received a standard room close to the other one. We asked for some form of compensation, as we had gone from a family room to a standard double, but unfortunately, they blamed us for wanting to switch rooms. I didn’t want to argue over something so trivial, but I do feel the hotel could have been more accommodating. The rooms we finally got were fine but not soundproof. At night, there was noise from the hallways and nightlife. In the morning, there was construction noise. Even though I don’t like to complain, I think experiences like this are unnecessary, as we only use the hotel as a place to sleep and spend most of our time out doing activities. On a positive note, I want to commend the cleaning staff. They did a great job, cleaning the rooms twice a day. The breakfast was standard, but it was nice to start the morning with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, and good food. For an overall rating, on a scale from 1-10, I would give this hotel a 5.

Be.hotel is great if you like to be next to shops, bars, clubs, bowling, cinema and the beach is a 2 min walk. Car park underneath is very handy. The open top bus stops at the end of the street. Nice rooftop pool. Our 13 yr old wasn’t a fan as only adults there. It’s not a hotel for kids to find friends but we went out every day as we know Malta very well. She liked the bubble tea over the road! Restaurants close by are good. Great staff, they dealt with everything we needed and always with a smile. Cleaning staff lovely and helpful. Good laundry service. Breakfast is good, plenty of choice. Could slightly hear the clubs late at night but didn’t disturb us. Liked the water machines to refill bottles for the room. Overall great stay 👍

The noise is music blaring from a bar right in front of the hotel until gone 4am! I was aware of noise but never did I think it would be this loud! The pool is not heated! Which was a massive shame as the pool is lovely! Breakfast was lovely! The family suite was perfect!

Wonderful clean hotel with decent sized rooms and amenities. I didn’t realise breakfast was included which was a nice surprise. As an Expedia member we received a free bottle of wine that I did have to ask a manager for, but was delivered promptly to the room the next day. The view is great and being inside the shopping centre you have everything you need. The only downside is that it’s directly opposite the late night clubs - our balcony faced it. The balcony door is very heavy duty soundproof but the music can still be heard a bit . Not a massive problem for us but might not be the best for families etc. Location wise all good and well connected to Sliema, Valletta etc

Stayed for 6 nights in the behotel, 2 adults & a 12 year old, asked could you upgrade to a room with a balcony at check-in but was told we could not because there was 3 of us, dont know why this was a reason, hotel is in a shopping centre with two blocks, a&b, we were in block a where reception is, if booking again i would request a room in block b this is where the pool is, rooftop pool was lovely & heated with food available, nice view on one side of pool to sea but the other side currently is a construction site with a view of 7 tower crains, when booking there was no mention of buildings going on next door, plenty of late night bars & clubs across from hotel so might not be the best location if you have a young family

Everything great, except a few lift malfunctions. Gym could also do with some more equipment. Breakfast was good, aircon was good, facilities have improved since our last visit. Outside pool could benefit from a small covered area for children/ us pasty brits! See you next time!

The hotel is built into the shopping area. The hotel was pretty good, though our tv didn't work at first. We called down to the front desk and even though it was late, someone came straight up. Turns out they couldn't fix it though, but we managed it ourselves after about half an hour. There's a cool arcade right next to the breakfast hall, breakfast was decent but busy, with plenty of options. My only critique really is that like many hotels the soundproofing isn't great so we could hear people out in the hallway, but otherwise it was fine. The room was huge and the balcony was spacious. Just a warning about the area though - there's plenty of eateries and shops, but after dark it becomes a bit of a nightlife hotspot. Great if you're into it, but not so much if you've brought the kids. Walking down the road to the hotel had music blaring all sorts of vulgarity, and there's multiple 'gentlemans' clubs on the main strip to the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay from start to finish.ovation is great. Breakfast amazing. Checked in was so easy and efficient. Staff was very helpful especially Hanifah at reception who went the extra mile to explain and show me where the pool and other facilities were when I was a bit confused about the B side. Also she was so helpful when I needed a taxi for the airport. She arranged everything for me. Thanks to everyone I had a lovely stay with my son and we will surely visit again and recommend to my friends and families.
