The location of this hotel is a 2-3 minute walk to Shinagawa station. We were visiting Japan for the first time and it was super convenient to stay near the Yamanote train line. It takes you to all the hot spots. Rooms were tiny but clean. Great place for kids. Food options are minimal but the train station has many options.

Besides the obvious that was expected (Clean room, great service, responsive service team) I have to say the location and amenities fit the bill for both business travelers like me and family travelers.

This hotel is extremely convenient for transit options, shopping/dining, and entertainment. The hotel offers family friendly activities such as a bowling alley and aquarium. With a 711 convenience store onsite, there’s always a simple food option next to the variety of restaurants offered. Sadly, the quality of cleanliness and amenities have decreased. Our room was not vacuumed, tables not wiped down (dusty), the bathroom tiles were dirty, and room amenities were a bare minimum. Sustainability is understandable, but soaps/shampoos weren’t refilled once and a toothbrush was the only provided amenity. Of the several stays that we’ve booked, the quality has gone down significantly in the last 6 months, and we can only hope things will improve. It was slightly disappointing coming from a cheaper Daiwa Roynet Hotel where cleanliness and amenities were 10/10.

It’s our first time to visit Tokyo. The whole city left us so many good memories include your hotel. Yes, we will come again. A Canadian family

Overall a great place to live, very convenient to the station (5-10 min walk depends on your speed). Building location itself has various gift shop, food court, convenience store (7/11), either within the building or 2 min walking distance. Room overall is very clean (though a bit small, its Tokyo, what can you do right?). Staff is friendly and professional, their English can be better (I understand that it is their second language, however, i feel like sometimes both the staff or i have to guess and interpret what we are trying to communicate). In my opinion, this hotel is great for family with children and perhaps for those who like to take it a little easy for visiting Tokyo. For those who are in Tokyo for anime, maid culture, fashion, video game, and others, i would recommend perhaps stay either in Shibuya, Harajuku, or Akihabara.

We booked this hotel at the last minute to give our 2 young kids some pool time. Our family trip to Japan was during the hottest time of the year, and it provided us a chance for the boys to have some quality play time. The hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool. No food or drink from outside is allowed. Kids under 6 are free, but it was about 6500yen per adult each day. That said, the pool was probably the best part. The room that we booked was located in the Main Tower. It was quite tiny but clean. I wished more city hotels had swimming pools like this one that allows young kids. I don't understand why some hotels have age restrictions for their pools in Japan. I would highly recommend it for families with small children or just needing a place to stay for layovers. It's located close to the Haneda airport, but a bit far out from other major Tokyo areas and attractions like Shibuya, Ginza, etc. The Maxwell Aquarium is located steps from the hotel and you can get a discount for the tickets if you show your Prince Hotel room key. I thought the dolphin show was really worth seeing.

Excellent location just a few stops on the train from Haneda airport. Good size room for 3, and clean hotel with everything to accommodate my family. Great customer service, will definately stay here again when visiting Tokyo. Coin operated laundry available and a 7 eleven downstairs with all your food and coffee needs which made everything so convenient and our stay enjoyable. Caught the Shinkansen to Kyoto and left our luggage at Shinagawa Prince Hotel for 3 days. We loved it so much we cancelled our other Hotel to stay in Shinagawa Prince Hotel for the remainder of our stay in Tokyo.

Property was worth the price. Room was serviced everyday. View was amazing. Amenities is the only thing they need to work on gym doesn’t open until 10am big bummer especially because ideally I would want to work out early before my kids got up. On the website they mention all these amenities, take into consideration that you have to pay for each one. They do give you a discounted rate because you’re staying at the hotel. When traveling to Japan please make sure you exchange money before you get here. They only accept yen no ifs or buts. Great hotel for kids.
