I enjoyed my stay at Splendid at Venice. It was probably the only hotel my family enjoyed in Italy! Super convenient to the main areas in Venice. Staff was super friendly and let us check in early. Also called taxis for us. The hotel also has its own water stop, which is great if you are taxing a water taxi to hotel.

We loved this place. we had 2 rooms on the same floor and we loved them both. however, in the one my kids stayed in, there were little flying bugs in the shower and bedroom. next morning, they had many bug bites. we dont know if they were bedbugs or something like this. other than this, we had an excellent time and the place is amazing. one of the prettiest hotels in venice, and extremely well located. super walkable everywhere. the hotel is better than expected

We had a family suite and the room was extremely expensive ($800/night). I used my free hotels.com night for one of the nights so I’m not sure if that was why the room was so bad. First floor, literally zero view. Looking at concrete. For as much money as I paid, I would have expected something better. The service was just ok, the breakfast wasn’t great either.

Fabulous hotel in the middle of Venice. Walkable to all the main sites and attractions, restaurants and shopping areas. San Marco’s piazza a 2 min walk. We had a connecting room which was perfect for x2 adults and x2 kids 10&12 years. Air con worked well in the hot summer heat. The hotel was very busy, but the staff were always friendly and helpful. Roof top bar was lovely was to end the day. We had a great stay. Grazie!

Everything was awesome about the property. Perfectly situated closer to attractions. Staff was Wonderful, I absolutely loved my personal note that accompanied my complimentary bottle of wine. Front desk was so helpful and professional, made my dinner reservations at an awesome restaurant, booked my water taxi. I’ve stayed at many 5 star hotels and I believe this property needs to be a 5 star and not 4 stars. Excellent all the way. Super grateful for the kindness shown to me and my kids. Made our first time in Venice totally worth it.

We only stayed one night, however, I was highly disappointed on the low level of cleanliness. Our tub/shower was extremely dirty with brown streaks and multiple strands of hair. You can tell they didn’t clean the tub before checking us in. I took a picture to show the attendant, but she didn’t seem to care. I decided to take a shower at our second booked room where my external family was staying in, and it seemed that their bathroom was clean, but the drain in the bathroom was clogged. I was highly disappointed with the level of cleanliness, especially at a high rating hotel.
