Hotel San Luca

Hotel San Luca was closed a small sign on door directed us to another hotel 150 feet away, it was quick check in but no lift or elevator and room was 300 feet away on the 2nd floor and we had lots of luggage and tired. A helper was provided to move luggage but he refused to handle heavier luggages. Room was basic no AC no air conditioning but a cooler was provided attendant asked us to keep window open. Kitchen is nice but we didn’t use. Bathroom is small as usual everywhere in Europe, a clothes washer was also provided we didn’t use. Staircase to room was narrow and dark. But hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and Water bus stop. No ramps on any of the stairs not sure why, I asked many folks but no reply. Be careful with heavy luggage, we broke wheels of two bags making it even more difficult. I had a family room means two separate bed rooms apartment type accommodation

Everyone was great! Wish there was elevator however. Made it a bit difficult for a stroller and a baby.

Authentic Venice apartment. Great for family of 4 and close to St. Marks square. Suggest an early morning walk to enjoy without the crowds! Water bus close by, bit of a walk if you’re walking in from train station.

This was perfect. Our family was completely comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Very well air conditioned, and was needed as it was very hot.

The accommodations were clean and the staff was wonderful. We had a fantastic little apartment overlooking a quiet courtyard. It was safe in a safe and well traveled neighborhood, extremely close to San Marco and restaurants. My family (with small children) and I felt very comfortable here and would recommend it to anyone. We would enjoy staying here again. My only recommendation would be to take a water taxi to and from the train station as it's a long, hot walk during the summer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had 2 rooms - a whole apartment, which was very nice as we were travelling with kids, plus a very nice standard double room. Nice and warm in both rooms and good (but somewhat hard beds) The location is perfect and it was nice falling asleep while listening to the mumbling of people passing by. Excellent breakfast.

We were a family of 5. We booked two rooms. Everything was perfect..location was great and everything we needed was close by.

Reasonable priced room in a central location. We booked a quadruple room for our family and were pleased with how spacious it was.

Great location but a bit noisy from the street. Annexe for 4 was perfect for family with 2 teens as we had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Tea and coffe in room and mini bar. Rooms serviced each day.
