Hotel Alla Fava

We, family of 4,enjoyed our stay very much. Great location, friendly staff and clean. Thank you!

We booked 2 triple rooms to house my family. One room was obviously a smokers room and no amount of venting could get rid of the stench. The hotel manager was unable to change it. The other room had paper thin walls with all activity in adjacent rooms in clear earshot. Not great for the children! And being kept awake most of the night by a loud snorer just about capped things off. I cannot recommend this hotel despite its great location.

Had a nice stay, extended by one day. Close to City Center and Rialto ferry stop - nice location! Easy to find. Accommodation was clean, check in and check out were pleasant. Walls are a bit thin and toddlers were in next room, but enjoyed the familiar sound of baby chatter. :)

We loved this hotel!!! We were a family traveling with 2 teenagers and we all loved it. Sara was a very gracious, charming and helpful concierge. The room overlooked the canal and the breakfast was delicious (breakfast room was small, but we were thrilled to eat outside watching canal traffc). I had heard horror stories of finding hotels in Venice, but the directions on the hotel's website were simple to follow. Walking distance to San Marco and we even took a ferry to Lido Beach for a dip in the Adriatic. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Only very, very minor issues were paying for wifi and the toilet did not work well, but in a city like Venice, plumbing is difficult...nothing to complain about at all! We really loved Venice and this hotel!

All of the staff spoke English and were very helpful with any questions. They have a room perfect for a 4-person family and the accommodations are quite large considering the typical Venice rooms. They held my bag with no questions for the entire day.
