Location! And the canal facing suite was perfect for our family of three.

We did not get the room we reserved. They reduced the rate but still it wasn't the choice. This changed the Venetian experience I wanted my family to have. In your description it should clearly indicate that the hotel does not have an elevator or a bell boy. Lugging bags 4 stories up in a narrow staircase is not my idea of comfort. Breakfast was very basic. Only hot item was the coffee.

Came as a couples getaway backpacking Europe trip, but decided to splurg in Venice because it has always been my favorite city. This hotel exceeded all expectations! Our room overlooked a canal directly across from Mozart's childhood home! In the mornings we were serinaded by the singing gondoliers, and at night watched as they floated by. It is truly a magical hotel in a magnificant city, the next time i return i know i will stay here again. Most reviews state that the rooms are not very accessible to those who have trouble walking or carrying luggage due to a lack of elevators, but if you are able bodied and have no problem carrying your luggage up a couple flights of stairs, look no further, you must stay here! The staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel is near anything you may want to see (since venice is so small). The room was very clean and the outlets were so strong our phones and tablets charged in a portion of the time they normally do!
