This was an amazing hotel for our family of four and was in a tremendous location right on the Grand Canal. Although it was about a 20-30 minute (easy) walk from St Mark’s and the Rialto Bridge, it was totally worth it as we got to experience the neighborhoods of central Venice, not just the tourist spots. The restaurants are also much less expensive and less busy near the hotel than the main tourist areas, so that’s a bonus.
The staff was also some of the most friendly and helpful of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was solid and big, with lots of options.
Lastly, take the water taxi service too and from the airport. It picks you up and drops you off at the hotel private dock - what a cool, unique experience!

The hotel is beautifully decorated with traditional Venetian decor and furniture just like the photos on the site. Before we even arrived, the staff upgraded our room for free as a larger room was available to make our stay more comfortable. We had a nice outdoor terrace available to us due to the room upgrade. The staff was very friendly and greeted us on the way in and out each and every time, as well as continually asked us if we needed anything at all for our room or recommendations for activities or dining. Their breakfast buffet is a feast with a huge variety from fruit/yogurt to eggs and bacon/sausage, as well as an array of pastries and cakes for your entire family.
We highly recommend this hotel as it's very convenient from the train station and airport bus terminal. This way, you can drop off your luggage easily after a short walk and then be off to your daily tour activities in the busier areas of Venice baggage free. There are great dining options and shopping within 5-10 mins walking distance. We were also able to book a private gondola ride just mins away from the hotel.
In summary, a beautiful hotel to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. The staff work very hard to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible and deserve to be recognize for their outstanding customer service. It makes all the difference!

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary! The customer service was not just excellent; it was personal and heartwarming. The staff made me feel like I was part of their family, and as a solo traveler, that meant the world to me.
I can't thank the team enough for making my trip a breeze. They provided me with invaluable information, consistently checked on my well-being, and even arranged transportation for me, ensuring I had a seamless experience from start to finish. This level of care is something I'll always remember. Overall, this hotel made my stay not just safe, but incredibly enjoyable. Grazie!

The hotel is small, quaint and lovely, and the rooms (Junior suites) were beautifully decorated and well appointed, but small. Only one luggage rack for a room that slept three. Almost nowhere to set anything down — this was challenging for a family of six taking the only two junior suites. Venice also has very high humidity, and one of our two rooms had a pronounced musty smell. That said, it’s walkable to train station, convenient for a water taxi pickup and the staff goes out of their way to please. Air conditioning was working well and was appreciated during our hot summer stay.

This is a great hotel, if you want to be in a quieter area off of the Grand Canal in Venice. If you want to be near San Marco Square this would not be the hotel to choose. We like being away from the noise and crowds. You can take a water bus and get a 24 hour pass or more depending on your stay and visit all the main attractions.
The staff could not be more accommodating from checking in, to restaurant suggestions, tours etc.
We upgraded to a junior suite as we were on the last leg of our holiday and wanted to have some quiet time and a larger room. It was worth the upgrade.
The hotel offers breakfast with the B & B package. Lovely Italian pastries, fruit, juices, eggs, etc. are delicious as well as coffee made to order, if you do not wish to have American coffee.
The view from the front of hotel offers a great view of the canal. Nice place to sit and have a cocktail before the sun sets.

Our first time in Venice we stayed closer to St. Marks and found it to be extremely crowded. This hotel is away from the crowds, and I personally enjoyed this much more. Right on the Grand Canal, it is a shirt walk to the train station and the neighborhood Canaregio. There were lots of great restaurants in the area. The hotel was small, but quite nice. I did not mind being in a room in the "annex". It was only 20 meters away from the front desk. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and did their best to make sure we had a great stay. The only negative is that I found the bathroom in the junior suite to be a bit small. Other that, it was fantastic. There was a small "kitchen" with a kettle for hot water, teas, coffee, and a fridge. there was a huge amount of different types of food available for breakfast such as scrambled eggs, sausage, cured meats, various vegetables, fresh fruits, pizza type things, brioche, yogurt, cereals, cookies. The staff were attentive and asked if we wanted cappuccino or coffee. The hotel is situated in a square that is not very busy at all and was an ideal place for my son to practice his futbol. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
