Hotel Principe

We stayed here 5 years ago. Their front desk staffs are as snobby as before. Not saying 'welcom', no 'thank you', no 'you are welcom'. The porter insisted to carry our luggage for us although we said 'no thanks'. They have the policy posted on elevator door, only people belong to one family can take the same lift. But the porter insisted to enter the same elevator with us, refused to use the one beside. We gave him €1 tip. He looked at it and showed the express that the tip is too little. They renovated the out dated bathroom, which is good. There is no small shelf under the mirror/above the sink, which makes doing makeup very difficult. The bath mat totally blocked the drain. When taking shower, the water flooded out. Had to use all the towels to get rid off the water. There is no chair in the room. The breakfast is so so, every morning the same. No vegetables at all. During weeknd, no service for breakfast at all. I think only its location is qualify for 4 star, not the facility. The service is especially bad as always.

Enjoyed staying at hotel principe, very clean, modern bathroom with towel dryer grill, quiet, great breakfast, accommodating staff. I will stay there again when I come back to Venice, recommending to my family & friends.
