Albergo Casa Peron

The rooms were clean which is the most important factor we were looking for. The rooms were old (but this is typical for Venice, as all buildings are original), but the bathrooms were renovated. Our room had a glass door shower in the bedroom, which was fine for us as a couple, but maybe for families this may not work (not all rooms may be like ours). If arriving by train or bridges, it’s only a 15 min walk (and you only need to carry your luggages over 1.5 bridges!). The area is quiet, and away from the super busy touristy part of Venice. It’s about a 25 min walk to St. Mark’s square.

Nice family-sized room though the shower was a bit low for my just under six foot husband. AC worked well, and everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful.
