NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel Dei Dogi

We loved staying here because it was away from the crowds and near to the first Alilaguna ⛴️ first stop from the airport. Brilliant customer service on arrival. We paid a high fee for 4 nights with child in early April 2024. Breakfast is €25 per person. We stayed in the junior suite (403). A lovely balcony top floor room. The sink in the bathroom is strange as ½ of it is enclosed under a mirror. The shower tap was broken, but usable. Very hot on demand 😃 The views are lovely as is the hotel gardens! It is a 3-minute walk from the boat station. No bottled water in the room! 😔 A bit disappointing to check out with a double bar bill; hopefully will be rectified soon.

We are a family of 3 and stayed in the junior suite on the top floor for 2 nights. The unit is quite spacious and well appointed. The bathroom is modern with heated towel racks. Everyone here is welcoming and attentive. Breakfast has a vast selection of fruit, yogurt, omelet, veggies, cheeses and bakeries. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but it doesn't take long to walk to Piazza de San Marco or take Vaporreti (No.4.1, 4.2 and 5.1 and 5.2 is the closest on the lagoon side) there are plenty of eateries around - we particularly liked the pizza place (cross two bridges on the right) and La Colombina (Michelin Star). Overall, a pleasant experience!

The staff went above and beyond. Our kids loved the outside garden area. We were extremely grateful for this experience.

The hotel is great. The staff are so lovely. They have made us feel so welcome and cared for. The room is big especially for Europe. The bathroom is beautiful and modern and the bed is very comfortable. The area is hip and just slight off the beaten path which makes it amazing for getting away from crowds. The hotel is beautiful and the garden is stunning. Breakfast is great and a good price. The only caveat is because of construction there is no restaurant for the evening which is really only a challenge if you have a young child and limited time to go further out and get food. All in all an excellent stay and great value.
