A family run business .. more family than business .. hotel is centrally located .. not quite 4 star but more a 3.5 .. no tea/coffee making facilities in room .. the hallways are tiled and subsequently a little noisy for those sleeping ..

if you want a reasonably priced,clean ,comfortable,well positioned, bed and breakfast hotel,run by a charming family with a polite and helpful staff,you will not do any better than the berthod...

Hotel Berthod was truely welcoming and exactly what we were looking for in the Italian Alps. The family were always extremely helpful and the room was comfortable, clean and a welcomed rest after hard days skiing. The boutique style is what attracted us to the hotel and we were not let down. Keep up the great work! We'll definitely be back!! The location is outstanding, right near the main street and only short walk to the ski lift.

We made a mistake but got no help more than referring to their policy, Arriving late with a family with small childs you are in a vulnarable situation, We were asking for some help but they was only referring to their policy. When complaining we instead were thrown out from the hotel. It was in this case good for us because we found a much nicer and friendlier place and we stayed in Cormayour for a week. It's a good location of the hotel bit be careful to complain, they can not handle that in a proffesional way.
