Hotel D'Azeglio

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel - it was clean and close enough to get to the Duomo and museums. The room was air-conditioned (bonus) and the breakfast was simple but quite delicious. The building and facilities were a little on the older side but it offered my family a room to accommodate 4 people and it was positive experience overall.

The property is well located near the center of the city. It takes only 10 or 12 minutes to all the main attactions. The staffs are bilingual and super friendly and super nice. Very safe area where is located specially for families.

There was bed bugs ALL over our room. We found them by chance because we turned the lights on after we had turned it off for a little while. There was bed bugs all over the walls and in the beds. MANY bed bugs. Absolutely disgusting. We quickly packed our things and had to wake our two kids and leave the hotel in the middle of the night, because we obviously did not want to sleep in that. Bed bugs suck your blood and if you get them in your things they are so difficult to get rid off again. They spread like crazy. We got an apology and a full refund from the hotel. No problem. I just hope we haven’t brought any with us in our luggage. I would not recommend staying there in the foreseeable future, until they deal with this problem.
