Villa Cora

This is the most amazing hotel and we can not wait to return and stay again. They treated us like true VIP’s and we were upgraded from a standard room to a junior suite! We felt like royalty and it made our stay in Florence very special. All of the staff were so lovely and helpful - Villa Cora is truly a very special hotel.

Very good place to stay. Very nice pool in addition to everything being in good shape. Very nice breakfast. A little farther from center of Florence (a rather long walk), but a shuttle bus runs enough to help. Main downside: not cheap (very little is in Florence, especially of the quality of Villa Cora). Our second stay as a family.

Just returned from 5 nights at the outstanding Grand Hotel Villa Cora - surely the jewel of Florentine hotels. Not only is it beautifully maintained and comfortable with gorgeous grounds, fantastic furnishings, linens changed daily and brilliant bathrooms (we had two in our duplex suite), the staff treated us all as old friends of the hotel, valued guests and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Breakfast was fabulous - whether the delicious continental selection, cooked breakfast, pancakes or a shake or smoothie. In the evenings there was a fabulous band playing in the bar downstairs, perfect end to a day in Florence. Thank you to the wonderful General and Restaurant Managers and the whole staff for making our family's stay so memorable, we very much hope to return!
