This room was very different. It felt like it was not typically used for clients but it was the only way for them to accommodate a family of 4. And they were not wrong, the kids loved it. The only issue was the kitchen had nothing of use not even a coffee machine and the fridge (2 of them) did not work. If you have any physical challenges of any kind this room is not for you. There is a very tricky stair you have to take before you get to the room. We like it, but it is for sure not for everyone. Call the hotel in advance and get the information of the room before going.

Beautiful hotel. Right off Via Ghibillina and just north of the Bargello. Very easy to get to and has a ramp to get in for wheelchair access. Has a lift big enough for a wheelchair and one other person. We chose the family suite and it had 2 sets of staircases to reach it, necessitating carrying my wife up these. We were warned when we booked that this was not handicap accessible, but not exactly why it was not. I suppose that is on me to have asked followup questions. Also has a nice breakfast area. Friendly staff. Overall I would recommend, this time in a regular room, but I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay in Florence! Welcoming and courteous staff, spacious room (we booked the junior suite), comfortable bed and ammenities, large breakfast selection, and amazing location within walking distance (15 mins tops) from all the main attractions in Florence. I would absolutely recommend them as it checks all the boxes for a unique and enjoyable hotel. The only downside I could probably note is that the listed bar/lounge ammenity was never open during our 4 night stay. Not a big deal, and perhaps it was due to our booking being in the low-season. Otherwise, our experience was stellar and we'd absolutely stay there again.

This hotel is not for people with mobility issue. I reserved a family room. Now I know why the pictures were not posted on their website. When we got to the hotel we were show the way to a room that looked like a servant room in the attic. To get to the room there were 6 steps then another set of stairs. This place had no windows. I will not recommend it to anyone. There were other guest I spoke with and they were not happy with this hotel. Please don’t waist your money.

Sufficient is the only word I have to fully describe our stay. We booked the “Junior Suite”. The desk told us second floor and we couldn’t find the room. It was behind the maids carts in an hallway up a crazy weird little staircase. It was a large room with a lot of space, that is the only compliment I have. It looked NOTHING like the rooms online on the website that were advertised. It was hard to carry the luggage up. It is NOT secure. It has a funny little tiny French door system that is secured by a skeleton key with no notches, any child could pick the lock. I told the desk I felt unsafe and they said it is the only room without an electronic lock and there were no other rooms. The shower drain did not work, there was no shower door (there were tracks so it was clearly missing). The toilet ran. There was only one real bed and two VERY worn out couch beds. The cups in the pantry were dirty. The front desk told us a taxi would take 3 min and not to pre-order one, and then when we came down they said it was 40 min. We almost missed our train. Other than it is close to a lot of things, I would not stay here again, especially not in the weird little room that is 209.
