Aurum Uffizi

I generally don’t write reviews but the service and amenities at Aurum Uffizi inclined me to share my experience to all. We booked this place for 4 days (7/9/24-7/12/24), paid around $600 USD. Upon checking in, we found the room pretty dirty with no toiletries provided - there was a lot of dust everywhere. However, the worst part was the shower. There was no separation between the shower and toilet so all the water just flooded the bathroom! We went down to request for towels but the front desk lady (black curly haired one) gave us attitude and said she didn’t have anymore left so we would have to wait until the following day for the cleaning lady to give us one. She was busy on her phone and didn’t seem to care that her guests were walking around a flooded bathroom. She did give us some toiletries though. What if one was to slip and fall and get hurt? Clearly not a safety concern for this hotel. The following day we called to request for a pillow and the same lady told us, we had to pick it downstairs which we did. Talk about service, there is none! You have to do everything by yourself pretty much. We went on for 2 days without the extra towels from day 1.On the 3rd day, there was a much helpful guy who gave us a towel for the flooded bathroom. The bathroom here is very poorly designed and prone to slip and fall. If you are traveling with kids and family (older parents) I do not recommend staying here. The only thing I liked about this place was the location but that’s it.

We really liked staying at this hotel, our room was big enough for a family of 4 and was very modern and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was included and enjoyable. The hotel is down a side street so was very quiet. It is walking distance to all the attractions and from the train station. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This hotel was amazing! Great location and newly renovated. The service, room, and breakfast were excellent. Our family of four loved this place.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. While the room was tight, it was modern and had great amenities. It was also very affordable and in an amazing area with great food spots right up the street.
