Le Calette Garden & Bay

Le Callette is a beautiful property that is a lovely 15 minute walk to the charming town of Cefalu. The hotel itself is set on the sea. We booked through Expedia and were not able to get a suite with a view of the sea so we called the property and they upgraded us to a junior suite for an additional 40 Euro a day, well worth the money. The staff at this hotel is very professional and accommodating. The room was modern with a sitting area inside and outside of the suite. It beautifully blended old world with modern style. It was very tasteful. The pool area is spotless and lovely. There is bar and lunch service available poolside, the food and service are both very good. There are several beach options available at this property. There is one very private setting that has only two chairs set up, but no bar service. There is also a shuttle bus that takes you to a private sandy beach, but we did not venture there because we loved the second on site beach option. The other beach option at this property has several levels overlooking the sea of spotless white queen size bathing beds. There is bar service and a snack/lunch menu available. The access to the sea is via a deck that leads to a ladder. The water is crystal clear and calm, perfect for swimming. The property is a short cab ride from the train station and the cost of a cab from the train station is 10E. If you are coming in from PMO it is very easy to take the train directly to this property

This hotel was the highlight of our trip! The executive and junior suites were worth very cent! Unbelievably comfortable. Great bedding, beautiful bathrooms. Plus one of the best couples massages we ever had were done in a cabana overlooking the water. The entire place was so charming, very clean, we did not want to leave.
