Hotel Alberi del Paradiso

We added an extra family member at the last minute and the hotel was very accommodating. We also made dinner reservations at the sister hotel for which complimentary shuttle service was provided. A beautiful family experience!

The hotel is about a 1 mile walk from the desirable part of the city although they do offer a shuttle into the city. AC was set to 19 but temp would not budge from 26. Smelled like mildew everywhere. In one of our rooms the smell was very strong. Pool could not be used (they refused to remove cover from pool). Tap water was brakish and not drinkable - possibly because there was a rain earlier. The next day the staff member who refused (somewhat rudely) to uncover pool told me that they did uncover the pool the prior day, right after I asked. I found this claim to be especially annoying because I was at the poolside for about 45 miins after that exchange occurred because my kids were at the adjacent playground. No staff member ever showed up at the pool area and the cover was definitely not removed.
