Hotel La Residenza

Our room was awesome! Huge, spacious for our family of 4 and the kids each had their own twin bed in their own space. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great hotel and staff from front desk to breakfast and dinner. We got nice room with motorized blinds and a patio with table and chairs. Just hope you don't get the family upstairs with kids stomping back and forth all day and night, like we did on the last night. Still a great hotel.

This hotel is a small boutique hotel. The property was very clean and convenient to walk anywhere in Rome. We walked to Vatican and Colosseum. The room was very large for European standards and our room had a bed bigger than a King size (reason we chose hotel). The decor and the furniture are a little outdated, but very functional. The room had a decent size bathroom and a great shower. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was located facing the front of the hotel and it was kid of loud. Rome is a very loud city at all times. Italians communicate with their car horns and talk very loudly :). The A/C in the unit made some noises and was kind of annoying to sleep. One quirk of this hotel is that you have to leave the key with the front desk every time you go out. They actually use a real old fashioned key on a key holder that weights half a pound (not sure you would want to carry that thing all day in your pocket). One bad thing about the property was the TV. It was old and slow. However, it did have Netflix (thank God).

Pro: We enjoyed our 7 day stay. The hotel is very clean and the staff is excellent. Rooms are very spacious and housekeeping does a fabulous job with room care each morning. Breakfast buffet is good. Con: Rooms have no coffee / tea makers. The refrigerator is mounted on the wall that only holds 2-12oz bottled waters, and 2 cans of soda. There is no phone or clock. You will need to use your cell phone to call friends / family staying in other rooms. Rate: 4 Stars We recommend La Residenza because it's a very nice hotel with great staff, but the rooms are a bit "plain".

I read a lot of reviews before booking this hotel and are a little bit of a hotel snob. I loved this hotel. We got a family room which was huge for the 4 of us with a modern bathroom. It was quaint and unique, clean and very quiet plus the air conditioning cranked in the August heat! My kids said it was too cold! Breakfast was lovely, staff was pleasant and helpful. Location was away from the craziness but close enough to get to everything by foot. The W hotel is next door and has a great rooftop restaurant. We got picked up at the airport arranged by the hotel which was great! The wifi was a little spotty but overall we loved la residenza.

Very cute hotel. Older but well kept. Front desk staff kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good- excellent cappuccino! Easy to walk to center of city. This hotel had 2 twins and 1 king in large room for families, often difficult to find in Rome. Would stay here again.

Great property centrally located with amazing and helpful staff. We stayed in a family room and it was spacious. The people at the front desk were just awesome. Breakfast was good. Few minor things could be improved was having a fan in restroom/ shower area and providing tea/coffee machine in the rooms ( front desk was kind enough to provide us with hot water almost every night). I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, staff were friendly and attentive. Room was fab, we had a junior suite and the bed was comfy. Missed tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the air con was a little noisy but not enough to keep me awake. The bar was closed in the late afternoon when I would have liked a drink but not a major issue. Location was great for sightseeing and I would definitely book again.

Excellent family run Botique hotel . Very helpful , knowledgeable and friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a great visit in Rome . Wonderful location in a very upscale neighborhood within walking distance of the American Embassy and numerous restaurants .

Located on a quiet side street in the heart of Rome, this beautiful hotel is a hidden gem. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was warm and friendly and treated us as family. a bountiful breakfast was served daily and was delicious. The WiFi was very strong and reliable. The neighborhood is safe and walkable. Close to US embassy, Hard Rock Cafe and Spanish Steps. Also Trevi fountain is nearby. A cab stop is just around the corner and can be at the hotel in 3 minutes! We loved this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much!
