Hotel Barrett

This was the best stay I have ever had. The hotel is in a perfect location, walkable to all sites in Rome, longest walk was about 31 minutes to the Vatican. The foot and body massager were a welcomed amenity after long days walking. The food available in the room daily was perfect for breakfast and snacking throughout the day, and it was restocked daily. The staff and everyone working here is so nice and helpful, they helped us with planning out what we should see. The bathrooms were very clean and was cleaned daily. We also got a nice cake on arrival and pasta on our leaving. I would 10/10 stay here again and would recommend this place to all my friends and family visiting Rome.

Our family loved our stay at Hotel Barrett! Our room was quirky and comfortable with excellent air-conditioning. There were tons of food and drinks in our room, and the fridge/cupboard was restocked daily, which was very convenient after a hot day exploring Rome. The staff was incredibly helpful, providing maps and suggestions for restaurants and gelato. The location of the hotel is outstanding. Vatican City, the Colosseum and Piazza Navona are all within walking distance. Most nights, we ate dinner in Trastavere, which is only a 10 minute walk. Highly recommend!

We just spent several nights at the Pensione Barrett, and we thought very highly of it. The property was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was perfect- we and walked to everything in Rome, including to Vatican City. None of our walks ever took more than 15 mins. The only negative side was the noise level in the hotel- between the children running and screaming up the stairs at 1 am to the constant ringing of the gate buzzer at the front desk, we didn’t get very good sleep.
