Hotel Miraggio

We came for the last night of our European vacation, we wanted to be close to the airport. It turned out to be a great idea because after all the business of touring around with crowds, this was a relaxing way to end, sit back with our family, have a quiet dinner on the water, and talk about our lovely trip. The location is lovely and spacious. The downside was, it is not as close to the airport as it appeared on the map and the taxi to get there was more than I wanted to spend.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a family run business and we got to meet their 3 sweet dogs, Mia, Bambi and Fiona. The front check in area includes tables with restaurant service and drinks. We enjoyed the pretty terrace to relax and unwind. The casita we rented was large and clean. Will go again!

A friendly and welcoming family run hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff are friendly and approachable. I like the style and friendly atmosphere. Nice gardens to relax in and a beautiful little village to explore. If your idea of a good hotel is lots of superficial bling with a lot of exploited foreign staff pandering to your every whim then this quaint and beautiful little place is not for you. It's only a quick bus ride into Rome central. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. One thing I didn't like about the location, which is nothing to do with the hotel but thought I would get it off my chest, is that all the restaurants/bars block off the access to the beach. Its like having a beach behind a row of houses on a residential street where only guests of the houses can get to the beach. Seemed a bit strange. I only found one little pathway to access the beach and that was after walking about a kilometer in one direction, giving up and turning back. Very weird a bit of screw up by the local planning authorities if you ask me.
