Hotel Regina Sorrento

Hotel looks and feels new- very close to to port for ferries and charming fishing village( Marina Grande) for family run restaurants. Great wifi, water pressure in room, hot/cold water, room temperature and comfortable bed. Room is relatively small but very well designed with everything you need. Good breakfast buffet spread at the restaurant with sea view. Beautiful sunset view ( sun setting into the seas)from restaurant on 4th floor - restaurant is relatively quiet for dinner when I was there in May - good food at reasonable prices.

It was a great place to stay in Sorrento. However, I do not recommend the family room our family stayed. It was on the 0 floor so had to hear all the street noise.

We were welcomed at the door. Front desk staff very friendly, we were escorted to our family room consisting of 2 bedrooms and a nice bathroom. This room is right behind the bar. It was clean, comfortable, and special. Very private and safe. Plan to return.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights last week and cannot fault the place in any way! From the moment we arrived all the staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spacious, modern and squeaky clean. The breakfast was delicious! So much choice... And the gentleman that served the tea & coffee at breakfast was especially friendly & chatty (not sure of his name). The rooftop terrace was lovely in the evening to see the whole of Sorrento & watch the sun going down with a cocktail. On our last evening the maid even came into our room while we were out to turn our bed down! The hotel is in a good location, away from the hustle & bustle of the main town but within short walking distance. The pool was lovely, surrounded by lemon & orange trees (could be bigger but was fine all the same) - it was very quiet & there were no children, not sure if they allow children at the hotel? We will definitely return to this hotel, don't hesitate, just book it!
